Target Chit Chat

This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Also, I didn't even know this coupon existed until I read about it on another blog. With the bogo peelies and $3/2 insert coupon, this is a moneymaker. The $3/2 would beep I suppose, but should be an easy K1.
I believe these were in this past weekends inserts - I only have one paper - the one that was delivered. That's because the 15 that I bought the week before last are still in the trunk of my car!!! I couldn't bear the thought of bringing yet another 15 papers into the house!!

I actually go through my papers outside now, bring only the inserts in and put the rest in the recycle bin.....of course, I've never bought 15 papers, my limit is 6, usually 4.

...and that's the saddest part of all... I usually just grab the plastic inserts right out of my trunk and toss the rest of the paper right into the recycle bin too. But I haven't even gotten that far yet Sadwalk! It's easier to just order the ones I "need" right now LMAO .

NEW CONTEST:

You have the opportunity to sell Target an invention worth about $300. You want it to be something that is useful and that your friends can buy with overages. Must fit in the backseat/trunk of a normal car.
I don't want the coupons, but want to be considered for the contest.

Channeling the Best Johnny Carson Art Fern (Tea Time Movies), Billy Mays or the Sham-wow guy that I can:

Shopper's do you need help when shopping your favorite stores for bargains?

Do you forget why you even went to the store in the first place?

Do you sometimes forget a coupon or forgot to look at a price in an aisle that you 'heard a special was available'?

Are you the (Wags, CVS or Rite Aid) Master, but need help with Target?

Do you DREAD sending your 'better half' shopping because they don't shop by the list, they throw full price items in the basket or don't use the coupons you wanted them to, or worse, get the wrong product all together?

Here today for a low, low price of $279.99 is a special device just for YOU.

It's the Target Shopper Couponaroo (insert a Carol Merrill smiley). Target Shopper Couponaroo will MAKE you a better shopper. It knows what your family needs even without a list. It fastens to your shopping cart and KNOWS all the specials in the store you have just entered. It KNOWS all the Temporary Price Cuts, it KNOWS all the clearance specials, it KNOWs all the 'oops markdowns' that were done by the sleepy Red college student that all your neighbors want, it KNOWS what the current and next month's sales will be and finally, it knows what coupons you have on you that very moment and pulls them out and gently waves them at you to be used at checkout and shows you what your out of pocket costs will be BEFORE checkout. That's right, if you need to add a Gift Card, the Target Shopper Couponaroo will alert you to a card and how much is needed so you don't drop down to a total so low that you feel embarrassed. Target Shopper Couponaroo GUARANTEES Windshield and Start The Car runs every time you use it.

Folks, Target Shopper Couponaroo can be set to tone or shake when a special deal is near AND it shines a light that only you the consumer can see on a special deal. It also has scan capabilities so you no longer have to drag the item to the closest scanner.

Target Shopper Couponaroo KNOWS when your better half is shopping and will not allow them to leave the store without the correct items. If the better half is shopping and an item not on the list is in their cart, Target Shopper Couponaroo will send you a picture, price, all the important details on that item. Just hit accept or reject on your phone and Target Shopper Couponaroo will throw the reject item out of the cart, or direct the better half back to that aisle for MORE.

You MUST have one today. Remember it GUARANTEES Windshield and Start The Car runs each time it is used. This will literally pay for itself in no less than 6 decent sized runs.

Who doesn't need a Target Shopper Couponaroo? Buy one for yourself, buy one for your best girlfriend who struggles with Couponing, buy one for your Mom, who just doesn't 'get' Target shopping and why you love it so much. Need Christmas items for that special someone, the Target Shopper Couponaroo is your ideal gift.

Special low priced attachments can be added for different stores (Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Kmart) and there is even an attachment that signals when Target has done their special markdowns, so you no longer have to worry if they have the item or not and hones in on the item that was hidden by another shopper.

Get it today. Don't delay!

She will be playing a secretary's assistant.. has some lines with a main male character.. but the people out in CA (she is in NYC) just saw her take like a week ago and called her agent! They LOVED the way she interacted with the guy! She is on a Broadway show now Smilie And she is only 18!!

Ditto, if I want more I just buy them clipped...I'll actually use them and not let them sit in the whole insert.

I'll be over in an hour to take those off your hands...we can make this a regular thing, you buy them and leave them in the trunk and I'll swing by pick them up and use them. I HATE going to the Dollar store or Menards to pick them up every Saturday. THX hug

PS glad you got your envie, hope you can use what's in there.

Hey all. Haven't done too much posting lately. Back in school and things are really hectic. Not getting in the way of shopping but computer time is WAY down. Sigh.

Anyways: got an email from pampers today that said they are tripling wipes points through 11/5. Most of the codes from wipes don't get entered around here. Half the time I can't even read the damn numbers. But, I will be trying! Smilie

4 weeks this past Sunday. His baby acne is in full force...and he lost most of his hair on his soft spot...he had dry skin there almost like dandruff...I google it and it is cradle cap. This poor kid can't catch a break...gassy, acne & now cradle cap. He is a wreck!

Oh and Mini just texted me that her BFF here in San Diego was just diagnosed with H1N1. Angry Mini comes home on the 25th and I wanted her BFF to spend the weekend with us...well that most likely will not happen because LJ & Mini do not need to catch the swine flu!
