This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

I had a good run today. My cashier was telling me about her dog. I told her about mine. She's got a Pedigree ya know.
Mofo, I was lucky enough to find ONE Starbucks with the long barcode in the 4 pack. Other than that just the single Vanilla, took a minute but I was able to pick up a few and get them w/out beepage.

Got it all put away (where's that robot when you need him?) and have been cleaning all afternoon. Think I'm gonna settle back on the couch and watch a chick flick and have some Hersheys
I gave The B2GO glade candle refill first and this deducted nicely and easily. I then gave 2 Buy the tin get the refill free next, of course those beeped, I knew they would because they are 01's. I hate using 01's at Target, because you have the exact right product and it says "item not found." Then the cashiers or supervisors sometimes think something is wrong with the order when it is not, you think by now they would figure the 01 is messed up in their system and fix it. Yes sure make the cashier look up the price and enter it if you must, but why the not found when the cashier sees you have it. I wanted to use these coupons, because the tins are on sale and two of the refills I found still had the coupons in them for future purchases. I have been trying to save these coupons for buying refill packs that have more coupons. I have had better luck at Walgreen's then Target with that.
Then I guess by giving my 2 $1.50 off glade coupons for the two tins, before giving my $3 off coupon for Lasting Impressions, and my 5 $3 off Sense and Spray the last two $3.00 coupons beeped not found. I didn't figure out why myself until after I checked out and looked at my receipt and saw that both the $1.50 had attached to $5.69 items and nothing had attached to the $1.66 tins. Crap, so when the Last $3 off coupon says item not found my boy called the supervisor to ask why these coupons were beeping when I had the exact item. Not wanting to K1 the 4th completely legit coupon. Errr the system! Anyway Supervisor comes overs and finally k1'ed the coupon after saying I could have 1 MQ 1 TQ and she saw I had all items.
Then they got to my Sense and Spray Target $2 coupons, which I might add, were attached to the packages and I peeled off to use. They all beeped, is the coding messed up on these? There was no overage involved with this Target coupon or anything, although that is not usually a problem anyway at my stores. A sense and spray was $5.69 less $3 MQ less $2 TQ = .69 So then since all these coupons beeped the supervisor is looking at all my coupons again, and saying she doesn't know why it is doing it, but next time they can't take all the coupons if they need k1's, since it is so many. She takes the Sense and Spray because they were attached to the packages I tell her. Then I remember I have a $2 Lasting Impression TQ in my purse to give, and so they grudgingly scan that one, luckily that scans or they probably won't have taken it. Not my fault all these coupons didn't register right. I mean yes in a way it is my fault on only 2 of the coupons, because I forgot to follow the sacred coupon order and that is when you have beeps.
But you know what the average shopper does not know that coupons attach to the highest valued items first so don't forget to put your $3 coupon, before your $1.50 and so forth. so I'm sure this happens all the time to people who use coupons at Target and just hand a waded up stack over. I'm sure they must see a lot of item not found due to this. As far as the Sense and Spray Target coupons and the 01's 7 of my 9 coupons that beeped, that is clearly the programming departments fault, and just makes people trying to use legit coupons look bad.
It just bit because my order was small just a few glade things, and because I slacked on order and Target coupons aren't programmed right I had to see a supervisor, get lectured on so many coupons and then you know how it is you become that coupon lady.
