Hey, you know what? I was just thinking about my run today and was struck by a realization...I don't think the cashier used the scanning gun on my coupons, but used the scanning bed. (I was totally distracted at times by DD as she was not in her best mood.) Would the 'accidental' scanning of the right side cause this kind of problem (prompting for price)? Thanks - this stupid run has me thinking overtime! Crazylaugh

OMG YES the belt would cause the computer to prompt for price... it happened when I accidently scanned a coupon for a cashier when attempting to set down in front of her gun!! Hopefully this was the case Smilie

At some stores yes.. at the normal stores I go to it doesnt matter, but if the right side does get scanned, it CAN prompt for price



Oh and for everyone else.. I had to hit the road running today as its my last day to use up these Qs... I was the bug x4 stores Smilie I was able to get 4 Nintendo DSi's Smilie And I have a raincheck for Nintendo DS for $99.99.. it has the substitution on it so I was able to use it on the DSi.. if anyone wants it? It expires 9/30 though! I am exhausted! Took me 8 hours to hit all 4 stores plus travel time.. we dont have them close Frown

Ah, now I can sleep. The cashier from *ell just scanned them on the belt (I was distracted so I wasn't completely sure, but was thinking about that while laying in bed Teehee). Will do again and see.

Sorry for the craziness!! I'm just relieved that it probably was that instead of the update.

No they were Target coupons. I've seen the other coupons on the boxes and some of the lasting Impressions today even had the MQ's but others had this TQ. I believe CVS reported finding the Target coupons on the Sense and Spray and LI a week or so ago, but I hadn't seen them at any of my Targets until today. I got all excited when I saw them, because I was all out of the $4 Sense & Spray and $4 Lasting Impressions MQ, and thought what a great deal to pair up the $3 MQ's (from inside packages I have bought in the past) with the $2 TQ's. The LI Target coupon scanned no problem, but the S & S Target coupon beeped, so it is not coded right.

I still have a lot of the free Lasting Impressions coupons from the 2 pack refills, I have been using them here and there at Walgreen's during RR deals, and even used one tonight along with a $5 expiring Kmart Cat and got a $5 GC. I try to save these for deals, so I am waiting for a great Target GC deal on these or something.

Oh, I also write the value on the q's. My cashiers started writing the value on them as they scanned, but I found that if I wrote it in for them, then they typically would just scan away without paying much attention. (typically)

I have not been to T in quite some time. I think I need to do some runs. All the "small" runs I think of end up being big once I start stacking up my q's. *sigh* Maybe I should focus on one thing at a time.

I had a run last week that was totally bizarre and it was all because the cashier was scanning the right side. I finally had to tell him to cover it, and then everything behaved. It was not only prompting for price, it was auto deducting weird amounts. Amounts that didn't match anything in my order....I think alot of the problems people are thinking are updates are just the right side scanning.....

I too am concerned about Dec12girl. IIRC the last time she posted, she was sick...so I hope that she is feeling better by now and just taking a break.

Guys, here is a generic question NOT for Target... I bought something from a store and used a mq on it, I don't want it... how do they refund you? I am asking because I bought Tag Jr from TRU... Oh and I want it BUT it is on SALE this week!! errr and they don't price change....

I haven't shopped at TRU in years, so I'm not sure how they would handle it. I would think you should get refunded the total amount of the toy since the store will be reimbursed for the q....but, some stores don't do it that way.

I can confirm that there is $2/1 Target coupons on the Glade Lasting Impressions and the Sense & Spray. Expire 12/31/09
Got some today, someone had already taken half of them as the peelie residue was left behind...

I saw those last night too. Didn't even take any b/c I thought they were just low value MQs...will have to go back.

Last night was not the greatest run. A lot of my cpns got adjusted. Starbucks, pounce and cottonelle were manually entered. Everything else went ok but my OOP was over $100. OMG Guess I should be happy it included a GC and that I had enough GCs to cover it all. Will be shopping today and tomorrow alone! Ah, peace and quiet.
