This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

He's chillin with me in bed. Bad news from DH - he's not feeling any better and said he's coming home straight to bed. What are we going to do with the baby tonight? I'm scared!

Not to mention Glade here, but didn't find any yet locally. Did find a bright orange peelie for $3 off ANY Glade whatever collection item. Needed a K-1, but worked on the shot glass candles. Oh, found the peelie at the grocery store - same one with the super blinkie machines!

Anyone need Gardenburger coupons? Found some booklets that have 5 $2 off any product on them. Filled my purse. Note to self, get a bigger purse! (only got 6)

me and DS just struggled for an hour for 1 *decent* photo for halloween. i say "decent" very loosely. He is now sitting on the floor watching backyardigans and eating a wendy's frosty. i AM SUch a pushover. LOL. OK, the frosty came from the freezer and the BY episode is on DVR. but still... Rofl2

Yes how do you work this magic? The only time we have them in the freezer is when DD's don't finish them and we stick them in there before they melt.

lol. you are going to be so under-impressed. my MIL gave me a couple of the trick or treat books for wendys when she was here. They are $2 and you get 10 free frostys if you buy it. I have been *buying* 1 every couple of days and giving some to DS and freezing the rest

I am so freaking out about a job interview I have on friday. I am going through my closet and all my suits are size 8. Sigh. I am squeezing in them (with pain) and it don't look good. Rofl2 havent been size 8 since DS#1 almost 2 yrs ago. Is it bad that I am so worried about a *possible* employer that might hire me? It is an unpaid internship for JD credit. I Havent gone on an interview in 3 years. Is it totally inappropriate for me to wear a dress? For reference, I have the black, rufully, sleeveless mossimo dress. I was thinking with nice heels (got those) and a red or tan 3/4 coat. Sorry for asking so many questions but DH and DS are my fashion advisors vomit

DEC12Girl~ A friend of mine homeschools and she loves it.
www.k12.com

Here is a snip of an email she sent me...

When they are doing k12 its kind of work at your own pace but with me I make him finish every lesson everyday and I tell him that we will never get done as long as you play around and that he can make it easy or he can make it harder by not listening. If your child can do the work and understand it then they do not have to do all the work for the chapter or unit they can just take the unit assement and if they pass they can move on to the next one. Its cool. Its actually not called homeschooled its called schooled at home because its an online public charter school. They have teachers for every subject and they online vrtual classrooms where the teachers teach, and they also have toutoring sessions. The teachers are actually in a classroom and they actually teach on a website called eluminate the kids can ineract with the teachers as well be in an actual classroom just as if they were in school. They have microphones with headphones and can actually talk and converse with the teacher and other students. We take field trips and there is also a link on their site so you can find other children in your area with the same interests and grade levels as your child, you can contact the parents or them by email to set up play dates or outings its cool. OH and they send you everything books, teacher guides, student guides, and materials for science labs and stuff I mean everything Its awesome. I wished I would have done this years ago

Oh yeah! Forgot to mention (this might be old news...) that Whole Foods have a booklet out with coupons near the dairy area on a little cardboard stand. The booklet is grey with a child on the cover "Save on shopping. Save kids' lives." It has "over $40 of coupons inside." Linky [vitaminangels.org]

My fav coupon is the Stonyfield one, B1G1 6oz cup of Stonyfield YoBaby Meals Organic Yogurt (552159227147). I also like the Celestial Seasonings one as well, $1 off any box of tea. There are also coupons for Seventh Generation ($1 off any package diapers, $1 off wyb 2 Seventh Gen products) and Good Belly (never tried this, is it good?) B1G1 any GoodBelly Quart or 4pk (591770000142).

So, I used the Stonyfield coupon at WF on the meals yogurt (just trying out the product since it has veggies in them!). Bought two, no probs with the coupon. Printed on the lid of the yogurt containers (tin foil) says "B2G1 FREE with coupon under lid! " so after feeding DD one of the containers this morning for bfast (the Peach/Squash combo one - she loved it!), I see the coupon (B2G1 6oz YoBaby Meals, 552159227161). Good coupon! nod

HTH!!

Bought a biggest TV there.

Wow! Sickness everywhere vomit stay away from me, germs! I want to have a good vacation. I hope everyone gets well soon.

BTW, interesting to see elderberry tossed around here as my lab teacher was just talking about the trials done showing it binds w/ h1n1. I think there's a weed root growing in China that does the same thing.
