This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

The EMT's strapped LJ in his carseat to the gurney Teehee they were loving all over him and I said you do know he's got the flu?! Arrive at the hospital at 2:15am. Doc and nurse check over LJ then let us get settled and baby was given Tamiflu. His spirits are good/normal and he is still eating like a horse.
EMTs=asking for it

Seriously, great to hear that it's "only" the flu and that LJ is doing better and has recovered his appetite. Babies are kinda like pets in that way...when they go from not wanting to eat to ravenous, you know they've turned a corner.

Sorry that he's sick, Thrift---but happy that he's under good care and mama's watchful, loving eyes!!!

Well the Discover Card Q comes to mind, I used all mine up but I am pretty sure it said one per tranny.
I just checked and you're right, one per transaction. I have 8 of these if someone wants to trade.

Yup sometimes they do that - and they know they're asking for it! When my lil guy fell in a fire pit when he was 3 they took him the ambulance and then by medvac where he was strapped down and he would have been FLIPPPPPING out but they sedated him. I couldn't go with him - I had to drive to the hospital - longest hour of my life!

Schnauzermama - I think the TQ have the one/trans on each printable one - or were you specifically referring to a MQ?

Thrifty ~ so sorry you had such a rough night. I'm glad LJ is doing better. hug

I'm thinking of taking a break from T...Annoyed Had another bug run. :bigbugsplatsmiliey: The cashier I went to today usually is so fast with scanning the q's and not paying attention until a message came up, but this time she paid attention and 'corrected' as she went along. *sigh* I can't wait until we have more seasonal workers.

Dec12Girl ~ I spoke with HR and they made notes. The person said that the boss's boss did the right thing by calling us into a meeting (she would have forced him to do this), but she also did say she was going to contact him and see if everything was set. No "official" paperwork or anything. Annoyed I told her that I wanted some record somewhere that this happened in case it happens again with me or perhaps a student. Thanks for asking. hug

Has anyone used the reese's b3g1 q? I think I had a 34000 relative in my cart, as the q asked for price. Thanks!

If anyone needs any of the Glade refill wyb holder, let me know, I have a ton of blinkies. Smilie
Totally missed the b3g1 Reese's - where are they found?? Thanks!

Oh, it could be a short barcode kind of thing for these. And I think Orbit gum hangs out with Reese's - but the packs at the register have the short codes too.

Grr... came in to ask a question and forgot it! I need to start questioning first, then read... LOL.

Are you all getting the H1N1 vaccine? The health center in my city is giving free vaccines tomorrow to those at high risk...

Scratchhead I've looked (and searched) but don't remember who asked about the $1 bakery TQ. I can personally attest that it works on the cookies in the cafe and it also works on the 'help yourself' muffin/bagel/sweets case (not that I needed either one). BTW, the cinnamon coffee cake muffin is yummy. It was quite tasty with my breakfast this morning.

Gator, thanks for the reminder about the Chex Q. Mine wasn't free (or at least one of them wasn't), but I found the little bags in the cafe and it was free. My store is ANAL about one TQ per transaction.

nod That's right. There are a bunch of gum products but ALL that I found have the short barcode (I had some 16s that were Ice Breakers gum but there were no products to be found with the whole barcode Annoyed).

laugh out loud

We're having a really crappy day here. Sadwalk So I bailed on a planned T run yesterday b/c I was exhausted (no sleep Th. night) thinking, Oh well, I can go tomorrow. So of course today has been a complete disaster. Baby boy woke up from his morning nap after < 1 hour and I start hearing this really weird noise. When I went to go get him I noticed he's got a brown powder around his mouth and all over his face. I'm like, wth is that? Finally I notice it's about the same color as his crib. . . . go back in his room and sure enough, he's been chewing on the rails of his crib. Head Bang Not only is this once nice piece of furniture (and it's one of those "forever beds" that converts to a toddler and then a regular single so it's not like it's going away) now look crappy, but I'm freaking out about him ingesting all that finish from the wood.

So my DH runs to WAG and burns a bunch of my RR buying Ace bandages to wrap around the tops rails. We'll see if that works or not.

Put him down for his afternoon nap and he screamed his way through it.

And we're (all three of us) supposed to go to a housewarming party for our neighbors later today. Crying2

Any suggestions on how to get a baby NOT to chew on his crib?? Doh

Not sure if this would help or not, but they make those clear plastic strips that snap onto the top of the rails at babies r us.

I was wondering if something like that existed. If he figures out how to get around the bandages, I'll have to get some of those.
