This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Schnauzermama - I think the TQ have the one/trans on each printable one - or were you specifically referring to a MQ?[/QUOTE]

I would use a MQ, I would never want to point that TQ wording out to a cashier EEK! Nono

Not sure if this would help or not, but they make those clear plastic strips that snap onto the top of the rails at babies r us.

I was wondering if something like that existed. If he figures out how to get around the bandages, I'll have to get some of those.
Ahh, brings back memories.. My first DS was a chewer. When we set the crib up for # 4 I remember complaining to my friend that it was all chewed up from the first one. I wanted to sand it and refinish it for my last child. My friend told me to cherish those memories and leave it. Now when I get my DD out of the crib, I always look at those marks and remember my son at the same age (he is now almost 17).
At the time, it did bother me and I wanted to put something over it, but the plastic things didn't fit my kind of bed. But that has been 16+years ago. Another suggestion is to have someone sew a cute quilted cover for the rail.. That is what I was going to do years ago, but never made it that farWink some cute little fabric that can tie or snap over the rail and match the color of the bedding!

Thrifty- I hope LJ is feeling better this evening. I agree on the cage thing. My DS was in the hospital for bronchitis when he was 1 month old. I held him mist of them time cause he looked like he was so tiny and in an animal cage in that thing.. just seemed so scary!

Thought I would mention a peelie alert for the gladay deal..I found the b1g1 peelies for the jar candles tonight at cvs. There was a small display of holiday candles, and a few of the candles had b1g1 peelies and the others had .50 off peelies. They also had some of the oil refills and there were bright pink 2.00 off peelies on those.
I checked the oil candle refill boxes from cvs for any signs of the b2g1 coupons of last year.. all of the packages were empty. It wouldn't have been too bad of a deal, if I had found some, I was going to get a few packs, just for the coupons. The refills were 2/5.00 and the holders as well.. so after a 1.50 holder q and refill q, would have only cost me 1.00 (which would have been worth it for the b2g1 couponsBig Grin)

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers! What a long night and a long couple of days it's going to be. LJ was admitted to the hospital. He tested positive for influenza type A. In babies this young they keep a close eye on them when they are battling the flu. We went to an ER near our house ,since it is Kaiser approved, at around 8 last night. Doc decides to admit to Kaiser which becomes a long drawn out process. We wait for an admitting doc. Then we wait for the transport van with the EMT's. Thankfully in this time LJ is fever free and they hadn't given him any meds. The EMT's strapped LJ in his carseat to the gurney Teehee they were loving all over him and I said you do know he's got the flu?! Arrive at the hospital at 2:15am. Doc and nurse check over LJ then let us get settled and baby was given Tamiflu. His spirits are good/normal and he is still eating like a horse.

Mini just called me. Papi texted her to call me. That made me Crying2

Well dang, guess I'll try again. Just wonder what else may be related besides candy products. Many thanks!
Ask them to rescan next time - and make sure they put their finger over the "right-side" barcode. That ought to do the trick!

Well my 9 month preggo rain-x suit was a hit today. Went to Publix and 3 Ts. Freakin windshield at all of them. Needless to say I'm totally exhausted. Gonna sit and put my feet up and watch the Gator game.

nod Used it today a LOT. No problems at all. Sounds like they scanned the right barcode.

Are you all getting the H1N1 vaccine? The health center in my city is giving free vaccines tomorrow to those at high risk...
DH and DS got the mist yesterday. I'm calling Monday to see if the shots are in at my OB office. Preggos can't get the mist (I also have asthma so that's another strike). DH & I have both had regular flu, the peds office is out of the 3 year old shot for DS so we're waiting on that to come in. My goal was to have everyone fully vaccinated before this baby was born. I think we'll get it done if our doctors get the shots in time. Short of turning DS into an obsessive compulsive hand washer (which I've pretty much succeeded at) I think this is the only way we'll be able to protect new baby this winter.

Scratchhead I've looked (and searched) but don't remember who asked about the $1 bakery TQ. I can personally attest that it works on the cookies in the cafe and it also works on the 'help yourself' muffin/bagel/sweets case (not that I needed either one).
I used it today on the .99 small tubs of brownie bites and macaroons and it adjusted and attached accordingly. Loving this Q.

What is this Glade you speak of?

Are there any coupons for the deal?

Where do I get the coupons?

Does anyone have any coupons to give me?

Can I use a Meow Mix coupon for the Glade (it says "any")?

Is it alright to buy five Glade and use eleven MQ?

Does this deal work on all the scents? I like that there Ocean one!

You can stack the ONYO (cats) you just can't stack the CRTs. (Which IS annoying.)

I still vote for T though. Wink

You couldn't even bribe me with a healthy T GC to get an H1N1 vaccine. It has not been tested for long-term side affects and didn't undergo the full rigorous FDA testing that all other drugs are required to undergo. One of my BFF's brothers is a doctor and he said he does not recommend it and will not be having his family vaccinated either.

Think about it. The chances of coming down with H1N1 are relatively small first of all - even as that risk grows and you're more likely to become infected with it, the risk of any serious consequences is minute. How many deaths have been reported to date? More people will die in car accidents then from this flu strain. Sure, more people are getting sick (flu-like symptoms) but they're not all at risk of dying. I'd rather risk getting sick and then being immune to future 'bugs' than to risk some unknown future affects from this untested live virus shot directly into my bloodstream. But that's just my opinion Embarrassment.

Ok, off my Soap Box

But the deal says wyb $20 or more of Glade (at KM) and even when I purchased 3x that (well, sort of purchased), I still only got 1 $5 cat. Ticked me off, actually. Those will be going back tomorrow. Do I really need any more Glade in this house??? vomit At T, when I get 15 items, I get 3 GCs. Love the certainty of the T GC! laugh out loud Oh yeah, and the T GCs don't expire! woot

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood what you meant-- though you meant you couldn't stack them at checkout (when you spend them). Yeah, cat deals pretty much means 1 per transaction.
