Finished my 2 day sale about 1 hour ago. Made $2500 after paying the sitter $100 and meals. Totally worth it, a little shy of my hopes but beautiful weather and some extra cash for the holidays, travel etc.

I found the receipt, but I threw out the outer packaging a while ago... It says on them you can't get a refund unless it's unopened... Wonder what I can do...
I went to another T on my way home and went to CS. I had the receipts and each GC with the receipt. I told him that I had bought them and that they were showing zero and he had to confirm the GC # to the outer package ID # and then confirm that with the DCPI on the receipt... Then he called the 1 888 # , didn't know how to do that, so I called them, got a CS agent on the phone and then gave the phone back to him.
He told her that I had all the receipts and could match the GC # up with the T. receipt and that I had clearly paid for them, and she confirmed they were showing up zero and that it showed in her computer that they were indeed still on the shelve in a T store.
She asked him for their Merchant Amex #, and confirmed that "your store is not set up for activating the cards".
Thank goodness she was kind enough to say that she could activate them for me, after confirming with T that I had paid for them, but that it would take a day for them to be activated.. I jumped with joy and said that is fine!!!
So basically if you buy them where they aren't sold, the money just goes "poof" into Targets pockets...
Learned my lesson.

Congratulations on your sale - sounds like a great one. I did $420 at ours, which was way more than we anticipated, and we got rid of a ton of stuff! Feels great. We have to get a new tire tomorrow - ours will not hold air long. *sigh* Then we'll be paying down some of hubby's medical bills. Yay.
We don't have cat machines here either, and the only time I get a coupon on my receipt is if I pay with my debit card - which doesn't happen often (maybe 1-2 times a year!)
...gotta go finish reading...
And its really frustrating, because some of the stores in our area have the cat machines and others don't. So last week, I kept forgetting that this one store didn't have the machine and TWICE I bought Wii games there and didn't get the $5/$50 cat.

and I just checked and the toy catalog that was mailed does have 2 extra pages of coupons to be used Dec 1-24. I wonder if those will beep if they are used now? Also, did you guys notice the Up coupon is not in the books?

I had the (rare) good luck to find one sitting on the shelf at one of my stores. When I used it, the TQ was coded to auto-deduct $10.99, regardless of the actual price of the candle.
