Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

You mean if the computer picks up that you entered from as slick deals site (which ff is) then they block the entry? But why?
Alot of the places like Tom's Hardware want someone from their site to win the products they give away. Its for computer people and they give away computer stuff. I cant blame them for it though. It would be like it Gary had a nice prize and said he didnt want it and the first person to PM him with their address he would send it to. The rest of us would be upset if someone lurking saw that and got it. Tom's Hardware is a help and info site. They dont sell products so what they give away was given to them. They write reviews on products so companys will send them stuff.
Not all companys block sweepstakes sites and alot of them want them posted here and I have suspected for some time that they are posting just to get their brand out.
Others like Glad dont care because the more times we enter the more times we think of their brand and buy it instead of ziplock.
Basically it all depends of who is doing the giveaway. Never hurts to enter but Tom's and Amazon are 2 that I know of that you have to watch where you enter from
