RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Hello Julie,

CONGRATULATIONS! You have won a $50.00 NFLShop.com electronic gift card from the
"Chunky™ Filled Up Right Sweepstakes & Instant Win Game".
Now you can be game day ready thanks to Chunky™!
Congratulations! I won some NFL.com GC's and my Nephews have been very happy with me. Sign up for their e-mails(periodic codes) AND use Shoprunner, if you have the free membership. Sometimes the codes stack. I think that there is a $10 off of a $70 order one in the" thank-you for entering" e-mail from Chunky too.

I got that call every day for over a week. I told them to stop but they said each time I entered the instant win they got a note to all me. It was the spinning wheel where i won the frog - it had downloads as prizes and other stupid stuff.
Bassmaster keeps calling. I let them know that I wasn't interested the 1st time. Explained nicely the 2nd, they keep calling! I know their # now and just don't answer.....

Good Luck to all!

Is it straight all over or just where they put the highlights? Maybe call your beauty salon and see if they remember your hair before and see what they say. That is weird. they do say the body changes every 7 years.
It used to be fairly wavy almost curly but now its straight all over!! Wont hold a curl either and gets so greasy I have to wash it daily and its still greasy!! The hair itself even changed. Its really thin and fine where it was thick 3 months ago. Now when I twist it up I have to use a baby clippy!! When I was a kid I couldnt put the pony tail holders with the balls in it because my hair was so thick. The way I style it now helps that but now I could wrap one around it 4 times!!! Never heard of hair changing that fast on anyone before. I dont even recognize myself in the mirror when I pass it!
Phase 1 is complete. I put 12 burgundy streaks in my hair. waiting the 20
minutes to rinse it out! I'll wait a couple of days and put about 24 blonde streaks in and leave the rest brunette. Might as well try different styles while I dont recognize myself and Im hoping that coloring my hair will puff up the hair shaft!!
Besides....... I cant remember if guys prefer blondes brunettes or red heads so I got it all covered!!! Big Grin

It may or may not help but will not hurt you at all. When my hair gets a hair-spray build up they told me at the salon to put a quarter-size of arm&hammer baking soda in my palm, pour the shampoo in and wash and then i wash again with plain shampoo. It takes that "limp" look out.

Thought I won something, Got a call from Bassmasters, Athen, Ga. She mentioned I had entries in contest, but then went on a speel about signing up for 5 years, for $125 for a bunch of sh*t......told her I wasn't interested and at least she accepted that and didn't get pushy...did a google and saw a couple people mention it.......one person got a real pushy guy....

Not sure which contest it was from.

Edit to say: Apparently they do this a lot........probably no more bassmaster contests for me.

Yeah, I quit doing that one when they started calling. Also learned my lesson with magazine ones. Except for a few. Most of them try to trick you into a subscription, even if you enter the non subscription form

Wish I had my dads grey instead of my moms! His hair starte at the peak in front like Jay Lenno, and started spreading from there. Real pretty white. Mom's is splotchy, here and there and grey. Mine so far is only about 10, real pretty silver and mostly at temples and sides. Did have about 100 of them but they disappeared!!
The crazy old lady is funny! She dyed her hair red one time about 30 years ago, just once...... but she still draws on red eye brows!!! I went and got her a tissue one time cause I thought she had blood splatters on her forhead......................... it turned out to be her eye brows!! laugh out loud

I'll try that. I did stumble across a home made hair spray that poofs the hair and holds it in place. Crushed rosemary and really strong green tea!! I put it in a spray bottle. It also helps it not be so greasy
