Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

I wrote the sweeps contact person about receiving the $600 cash portion but not the Marvin windows or the heat/ac unit portion. Was wondering when to expect it and this is her reply:
Hi Nancy,
Thanks for letting us know that you received that portion of the prize. We will reach out to the sponsor for an update on the remaining portions

What the heck does "reach out" mean

I thought so too but this is the second time I have written her. A few weeks ago she said she would check into it but I hadn't heard back so wrote again this morning. Guess I have to wait and see. My builder has ordered most of the windows but is waiting on my prize to come through for the final order.

The Ultimate Game Card is for a games site. Try listing it in the trading thread and someone will definitely give you Amazon for it. (The trade limit is $5 (no Paypal)). You may be able to trade for more elsewhere, but I'm not up on that.

I haven't felt well for a few days. You can tell when I start mis-using words and spelling goes to ......... Trying to keep up on things....Twix keeps giving errors, and I'm having trouble concentrating for other contests. On the other hand, sometimes random works.....

"reach out" is usually the term used when an "expeditor" wants to REACH OUT AND SMACK someone, rather than just asking about an expected delivery date.
