Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !
So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Thanks!
I leave my computer on if I am going to be back and forth to do thing's on internet, but if I am not I usually just shut down completely.
AT&T tends to blame the customer when they answer too. Now, I know to ask if there is an outage at a substation. Most of the time. they admit to one, but they still want to schedule a visit. Ummm no. I average an outage every couple of months...............
I do log off the internet when I am not going to be on for a couple of hours, then sign the computer off completely and turn off the surge protector (computer, printer, modem) when I am not going to be using it for at least 6 hours. Saves on electricity and I have read that having the modem on continuously can make them burn out sooner. I would think the the number of hours that a modem lasts is fairly standard, so it would last longer if it is not on continually, plus there would be less of a chance of it overheating.
I went for blood work today. Have a lot of tests ordered to catch up on which I put on hold with all else happening. Today is Sam's Bday so we went to breakfast as I had to fast. I went shopping and really did not want to come home. Still sad. Wanted to go to dinner but snowing pretty much now.
this one says San Franisco
Oh glad you told me that. No verizon blamed my computer and possibly a virus. It would not have been so bad but the first guy hung up after waiting so long. Thanks. I figured you were playing your Xbox. Have you? Do you like it?

Sam said thanks. Nice dinner planned here. I asked immediately if there was an outage and they said no.
