Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

It's official, I won 2ea Twix bars this month.
Unfortunately, that's normal. You will need to pay for the meter (unless that is included-normally not) and to turn on the line. How much will running the water/gas/sewer lines cost you?
Most people don't see those charges unless they build a house or live in the country and the city extends services out to their area. It is part of the cost of building a home. The builders include the cost of all of that in their home prices.
There will also be a tax change-when I bought new, there was a 4 year tax abatement, where I only paid taxes on the land like it was still farm land, then the property taxes went up in the 5th year. It was an incentive allowed by the city to build out my way. I'm not certain how that will work in your case.

Also just got my loser streak broken. I won a $50 gift certificate in the Bonefish Grill "Twelve days of Happiness" sweeps. I never even got notified, just showed up by Fed Ex.

Life just gets better as you get older doesnt it.
I was in a Starbucks Coffee recently when my stomach started rumbling and I realized that I desperately needed to fart. The place was packed but the music was really loud so to get relief and reduce embarrassment I timed my farts to the beat of the music. After a couple of songs I started to feel much better. I finished my coffee and noticed that everyone was staring at me..
I suddenly remembered that I was listening to my Ipod.... and how was your day?
This is what happens when old people start using technology!
A family brings their elderly mother to a nursing home. The nurses bathe her and set her in a chair at a window. After a while, she slowly starts to lean over sideways in her chair. Two attentive nurses immediately straighten her up. Again, she starts to tilt to the other side. The nurses rush back to put her upright. This goes on all morning.
Later, the family arrives and asks, "Are they treating you all right?"
"It's pretty nice," the old woman replies. "Except they won't let you fart."

A little old couple prepares to go to bed. They no sooner hit the pillows when the old man farts and says, "Seven Points."
His wife rolls over and says, "What in the world was that?"
The old man replied, "It's fart football."
A few minutes later his wife lets one go and says, "Touchdown, tie score."
After about five minutes the old man lets another one go and says, "Aha. I'm ahead 14 to 7."
Not to be outdone, the wife rips out another one and says, "Touchdown, tie score."
Five seconds go by and she lets out a little squeaker and says, "Field goal, I lead 17 to 14."
Now the pressure is on the old man. He refuses to get beat by a woman, so he strains real hard, but to no avail. Realizing a defeat is totally unacceptable he gives it everything he's got, and accidentally he shytes in the bed. The wife says, "What the hell was that?"
The old man says, "Half time, switch sides."
