Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Are you getting money credited by the installer for the slate that is removed? It's worth quite a bit for using on other roofs. Most of the time, if you don't ask, the roofers keep it as a bonus.

Also, with solar power when everyone else is out of power you will have hot water and lights and heat!!! If it gets cold there or stuff like power outages happen, it would be worth looking into. If nothing else you'll be warm and can stay home
