fedex didn't charge for redelivery. i actually had to call them though because the package was mia on the redelivery date of dec 31. the cs apologized, promised to straighten out and redeliver asap which was on jan 2. someone at the station where my package was at even called me back and followed up.
fedex didn't charge for it.
i even asked ups if they can just do the redelivery attempts but not leave infonotices, he said no. i guess they are just following protocol, just as he had to charge me if i ask for redelivery.
eta: i actually just became paranoid about losing packages here. all the while i thought it was safe (we're near a dead end). but our neighbors saw our boxes when we were gone to have the baby, and they went and put them at the back door. they said they had packages stolen when they had their baby.

i keep mine in my purse now but may have had it in my pocket once. i think that's what killed it for me.
I'm pretty sure that's what happened. I used to buy rewards and then sometime last year I ran into that problem

The DNA kit is pretty neat. Sitting around with my and DH's families around the holidays, I was thinking that I already have a good idea of how bad our genes are

Also for chapped lips, the Dermstore Lipquench is pretty amazing. Black tube. Came as a GWP a while ago so might be some on fleabay for cheap
Now, with mine, I keep them in my purse (never my jeans pocket), and I only push up as small of an amount as possible. I pretty much apply the lip product from the exact top, pushing down. Once I discovered this, I never ran into any problems. Hope that helps!
I had actually bought a full size one last December (before it was announced that it was their birthday gift). That was the one that broke. What a pain because it was so much bigger.

my vs 2 day shipping came like the 5th day, so they're definitely unreliable. I don't even think they try to prioritize those. I saw mine sitting an hr away from me for 2 days! Ridiculous!
