New name, same girls!

I want in - I've got one box packed up for VS, just a few more things and it will go out tomorrow!

Also packing up a return for 6pm.com.... Was anyone ever able to take advantage of Paypal's Free Return Shipping promo during DEC? They still haven't gotten back to me on it :ang ry:
DS's GF took the 2 duplicate Express tops, so I don't have to worry about returning or exchanging those. Now I only have one shirt DS didn't like to return. He said one of his friends had one like it, so he didn't want to wear it. Rolleyes2 I also need to return some VS bras that didn't fit.

Paypal sent me a return label, but the return address was different from the return address on 6pm.com. It appeared to be Zappos return addy. I emailed the address to 6pm to see if they would get the package to process my return, but they haven't gotten back to me. If I don't hear from then in a few days, I'll have to call. I'm not returning it, until I know for sure the address is okay.

Whee wow, that was fast! I was looking at the sharkbite dress in black as a candidate for funeral/memorial services (always so easy to find a cute/sexy black dress vs a somewhat somber church-appropriate one), but that scandalous length will not do. Thanks to you and Reds and Kurps for that info. Is the fabric too sleek to wear casually (with sandals?) .

it shipped from ontario. Whee can't wait to see it!

it's a nice cool fabric, perfect for summer. i ordered in the other 2 colors since i already have black. i brought it with me to SE Asia for my honeymoon. it's a tad on the short side but not *too* short - just don't go raising your arms above your head too much while you're in it. i think you're my height - red is 2" taller than me so i can see why it's a bit too short for her. but it's ok on me.

Good! Super cold n it Went by so quick! We stayed a few days with dbfs friend n 2 days at the pod 39 hotel in manhattan. small n quaint but the most affordable option. it reminded me of the pods they sleep in japan. its very space efficient! no surprise, but i miss shopping in ny! No tax on clothes or shoes under 1xx.xx is such a perk! Went stalking all the h&ms to look for a jacket I saw my first day in ny but was too cheap to buy laugh out loud non buyers remorse is so horrible! Visited soho, macys, 5th ave heart, Brooklyn to see dyker heights Xmas lights, Chelsea mkt to eat the plump n meaty steam lobster. Halal guys is so tasty n cheap! Had it twice while I was there. Greenwich n hipster town /dumbo have so many art galleries! So much to do! dbf sucked it up n paid for the lion king on broadway. Soooo expensive but a broadway experience was on top of our list. we saw the lion king exhibit but werent too impressed until it was put into action. we had orchestra seats so being able to see the facial impressions made it even more enjoyable. we walked sooo much, almost every night i blacked out! couldnt adjust to ny time tho....i usually wake up around 630am for work, so in ny i didnt get up til 10am! i miss byrant park. i want to drink hot apple cider! have u tried it before? Wondering if its beyond better than the ones from the bottle? We drank so much Starbucks to keep warm. By the time I came across hot cider I was too full Frown

ny culture is so diff. ppl keep to themselves on the subway. like they just zone things out. how often are there breakdance performers w music boxes on the subway ride? we encountered it twice n thought it was pretty cool. In la there are only bad rappers Coverlaugh ny ppl move fast n aren't as patient. The dunkin donuts woman was so snappy with me laugh out loud I ordered an iced coffee n she asked me how I wanted it... N I didn't know since most ice coffees here come pre made all sweetened n stuff n so I asked her what are my options? N she said Havent u ever had coffee before Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

It was really fun....n adventurous. We missed our 845pm flight back to la by 15 mins because the subway schedule changed unexpectedly..n it was the last flight of the night. it was pretty much the terminal movie except nothing romantic like it. First time being Just stuck at the airport. We survived but I was grumpy n sleep deprived.

All in all very memorable Big Grin

Thanks for the info. Looks like this will be an uphill battle for us Messed Up , but you've got your foot in the door. I'll look at the SD thread and see if we can crack the CS code for getting this junk taken care of before our returns time is up. EEK!

Thanks for the extra intel, I might order 1 or 2 just to try it out (curse this free shipping! LMAO ) . It's quite breezy here so if it's already short and flowy - it would be "showtime" to walk over to the resort.... The printed tulip dress [express.com]really excels in my gusty climate (which, btw Alvsy - I disliked it in Gray, but heart it in this print!) I already put in an order this morning for boots, a suit jacket and the hi-low hem dress in black ($35?! Faint - not really caring if it sits in the closet at that price ) . At this rate, I'm going to wear this CC out before I even get the real one in the mail!

Anyone have comments on this one (in same terms- casualness, scandalous lengths, etc?) http://www.express.com/printed-chiffon-hi-lo-hem-elastic-waist-dress-54184-43/refine/Type/Dress/control/page/7/show/3/index.pro

Or this one? http://www.express.com/printed-double-v-neck-elastic-waist-dress-52505-43/refine/Type/Dress/control/page/25/show/3/index.pro#jsLink

i have the tulip hem in gray and in that print. the print is a whole lot better, i want to give away my gray. gray is more casual, print can be dressy.

no to hi-lo hem. it is big and frumpy.

elastic waist dress in another print was what i was wearing when ds's girl classmate thought he has a pretty mom. so yes to that. may be short on you though.

I think it would look great with sandals or heels. I usually wear mine with flats! How tall are you? It may be church appropriate in a size S for you if you just wear it with black tights. I was actually thinking the same thing (about the services) when ordering the black earlier today. I actually decided to go with the S just to have that option.

It is okay because zappos owns 6pm. No worries.

Picked up my target nm luggage! It's super cute. The zippers do seem to have trouble around the corners. Hope that doesn't become an issue!

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I just up-chucked my dinner for some reason. Frown

Oddly enough I've never seen the subway dancers but alot of people I know have. I don't take the Subway much. Something about walking in the city makes me feel alive so I usually walk everywhere. I don't know if there is even a word to acurately describe how impatient and self absorbed some Nyers are but after a while its just funny. They're all so determined yet so many of them can't always be headed somewhere important. laugh out loud

I'm glad you had a good time! I'm going to have to try the hot cider and get back to you on that. I have been buying groupons for coffee shops so that is pretty much all I've had in ages.
