I really want this Drop Waist Fit and Flare [express.com] dress. My guess is that Nerdi will also be stalking this one with me.

I got the high waist skinny leggings. I've yet to try their skinny pants but I do need a pair because I ordered some from somewhere else and they had a seam running down the front that I didn't want.

got my express clearance stuffs. i've decided the hibiscus 2-in-1 pleated surplice dress [become.com] just doesn't work for me. no idea why bc that style generally does, but that dress in particular cuts into my tummy area funny. oh well. RETURN

i got the metallic lace top ponte knit dress [express.com] in XS and S and the S was too big but the XS worked and is cute. i think i am keeping that one. (thanks k for the suggestion)

i also got the crinkle chiffon top [express.com] that still seems to be in stock for 14.99 in red and green, XS. first of all, the red and green are darker in person than they look to me on the screen. together it looks like christmas to me - the green is a medium green, not the lighter green that shows up on my screen. almost forest green but not quite that dark. i love both colors and can't decide which to keep! (this style generally works well on me tho -- i know it's not for everyone) it also runs a tad larger than my beige one of the same style - the lining is not as tight on me. KEEP (tho, unsure which color - help!)

got some top [express.com] that ended up being that static fabric - couldn't get this off fast enough, but it still left me with my hair flying. the top itself is actually not that bad tho a tad short on me, but i can't handle that static fabric bc it's very dry in my area and i hate when my hair is all staticky. RETURN

printed peplum shell top [wordpress.com] XS - this actually fits me, but without the stretch it's a tad tight. plus, it's that "side boob" style for alvs - while it doesn't show any side boob for me, i'm not sure i like the style. i ordered it in S also but that package got lost somewhere - i hope i find it soon. the XS is going back. i have a feeling the S might be a little loose.

chiffon overlay metallic cami [scene7.com] - i had tried this on in store during the printable $15 off deal and thought that i liked it. apparently i was mistaken. got this in XS and S and neither fit. RETURN

i think i can keep the metallic lace for a bachelorette party later this year so that will be useful at least. i'm just not sure how to wear a pushup bra with it since the straps don't stay put (and that dress needs to be worn with a pushup).

There is a possible school shooting at my high school. Never believed such a thing could ever happen. Especially so close to home. : ( Everything is on lockdown.

Side note: went to the mall this am and there was a dude in the womans restroom. It was right when the mall opened and I was waiting for hc stall cause I had ginormous stroller with ds, and they don't fit in stalls. He came out and saw me and was like where am I?! I said your in teh womans restroom. Sad thing he was totally not with it, it took him 5 minutes (ok like a min) to get out of the stall. I thought I was going to pee my pants had to share with someone.

I hope a S fits me in the printed peplum top. It's supposed to arrive Fri.

You have a longer torso than I, so you may not have the same issue, but... I had a similar dress altered to shorten the straps. It looked much better after that. If nothing else, tighter straps would help them to stay put. Another option would be to use fabric tape to tape the straps to the bra.

Also went to vikkies to get free panties and "return" SAS sweatpant I thought were ok for $20. Well the manager talked me out of returned, let me do a PA, I found a white babydoll 2 sweatpants and some more undies and she let me use survey coupon that I had buried in my purser for months. the whole time she was like, well this once I'll do a PA PAST 14days, well I'll let you use the survey coupon, but just this once. This store has used that line on me a lot. I guess that's why I return! It's a pretty large volume store, so they could have the typical rude attitude, but they have aways been more than nice as pie there. I think ds there helps cause he has learned to say hi/bye to eveyone. He is a charmer!

It's official, they discontinued the gergous bra. Glad I bought some at the beginning of the sale online. I was going to use my 20% off bra to get a new color. Now I will have to figure out a new fav. the SA was trying to tell me the incredible was comparable ... bleh.

the S should fit you, but i know the nonstretch will probably not be as good for your figure. hopefully it works!

the top is supposed to be baggy i think, according to the photo, so i'm not sure if shortening will change the look. i like the fabric tape idea! i do have some of that somewhere... i guess i'll also try the dress with a strapless to see if it hides it. pushups with straps work better on me tho - more oomph. ; )
