Thanks for the wm deal alvsy! I'm being lazy - there's one close to me. I should just go check ut the selection in store.

I ordered that express dress the other day. There's also a new ruffle tank I was interested in. Wonder why they add things to clearance like that?

I finally got the raglan sleeve drop waist dress. It's pretty cute and very comfy. The only issue I have is that the lining of the skirt is staticky so it sticks to me. It's less casual than the limited one I have in a similar style so that's good.

Felt very weird yesterday bc I had no in store returns to make. I packed up a box of vs stuff. Also reorganized my closet! I realized I wasn't wearing a lot of stuff bc I didn't see it.

Wave back from city laugh out loud ds had fun at chuck e. cheese. i did some returns at exp, managed to come out with nothing Whee my vs and exp returns box are ready to be taped up. i'm sure i'm keeping the jacket we all ordered, not sure about the houndstooth sweaterdress but i can retun it in the store.

eta: i saw they have a colorblock version of the button shoulder top. i got excited but i'm not sure i like it when i tried it on. it has 3 colors - one for the sleeves, the upper torso and the lower torso.

I know how that is. Where I grew up the nearest mall was 45 min. to an hour away depending on which one we went to. We had Roses, some kind of cheap Dollar General type store, & a ridiculously priced, name brand clothing store in town, but that was about it for clothing. Needless to say, we bought very few clothes in town. We had to be desperate to pay the specialty clothing store prices. Now they have a Walmart 25 minutes away, but that doesn't help with the clothing situation. The biggest positive is one of the malls is now a killer mall. There's no competition, so it has a lot of stores. It wasn't that great, when I grew up there. When we move back for the summers, we'll have a really nice mall to visit every few months. laugh out loud I'm so glad we can shop online how. bounce I wish that was an option, when I grew up there.

I'm glad you all had a good birthday celebration. Chuck E. Cheese is always fun. Which DS had a birthday? I forget when the baby was born. Doh

Was it ever in regular price? I never noticed it.

I find that the counter girls suck for the look I want. I don't think they know how to work with my eyes and plus, I feel like it's kind of unsanitary. I already told Bridezilla I'm using my own makeup and no one else can use it because she was assuming that we can all just share makeup. shake head You're right - I'm just going to opt out of doing her makeup. I seriously don't have a steady hand and the times that I do help a friend, it takes me 10 minutes just to draw eyeliner on her. AND I mess up a lot.

As for hair, I think she wants everyone to have half up and half down. I'm trying to find cute styles,and I saw this [pinterest.com]. Looks easy, so I may just do something hassle free.

I'm glad you got your dress. bounce That must be a relief. If the bride has a particular hairstyle in mind, you could practice doing your own. I style my hair several different ways for formal occasions, but it takes practice & a lot of time. A professional would be much faster. If you're going to be pushed for time, I'd schedule a hair appointment myself. You could always meet up with the others, after your appt. They always spray it enough to hold the style for hours, so you could go early. Just tell them how long you need it to last. You wouldn't even need to tell the others you had someone else do it, if you didn't want to. OTOH, if you have a lot of time to practice, you may feel comfortable styling it yourself.

I like your salon appointment idea! I will have to look into that. I've only gotten my hair done at the salon twice - for proms. But it all looked kinda so-so. I don't think they knew what they were doing look around I can probably suggest that to her as well. But it looks like her hair is a lot coarser than mine so I don't know how it will hold a curl and for how long.
