One of my tees from Express came out of the dryer with 2 holes in it. I only wore it once & washed it twice (I wash everything, before wearing it.).

This is the 2nd garment I've had that happen to. I didn't even get to wear the cardigan. It came out with holes, after the first wash. They really need to stop using tissue thin fabric. If I had given more than $5 for the tee, I'd return it. My tees are mostly for wearing around the house, so I just sewed it up.

When 2 people break up, there's often many more people hurt. It can be harder on the family & friends than on the couple, especially the one that ended the relationship. I hope they work it out, if it's meant to be.

i have yet to have that happen, but i've read a lot of reviews about it. if you only washed once and didn't wear, you can bring it back to the store and tell them it was defective. unfortunately, it's up to them if they want to deal with it. i've heard them say to one customer claiming of a defect (pocket had a hole in it on the inside of a jacket) that a defective item needs to be mailed back to them, or else they'll exchange it in store.

it took me a looooong time to figure out how to organize mine, and believe me, there's a LOT more mess where that came from. it's spring cleaning week for me tho! just in time for the new year (i've heard of ppl doing spring cleaning before the lunar new year, which is coming up this sunday). i cleared out 3 bags of clothes and 2 bags of shoes for good will. a couple pairs of boots were worn once or twice and are still in the box.

i would say asos is like h&m so for asos get whatever you think your size at h&m would be.

also, the asos site is NSFW - their sheer lingerie doesn't even blur out the nips!!

they do normally work on sale. i hate when they release a code that doesn't. they regularly have 15 or 20% off all items. i try to order during those, but they run out of sizes on their sale items sometimes.

i'm wearing the porda jacket today. it's so snug on me! but i do like it. i was just thinking i need to update my wardrobe to be more for someone in their 30s rather than all the hoodies/etc that i wore in my 20s.

these jackets are helping me in that aspect.

That's kind of crazy, because I feel that ASOS sizing runs big, on average. I am a size 6 or M in VS dresses, but I've ordered so many things from ASOS in 6 and M that were too big, even considering I've been running about 10 lbs. over my normal weight. I can even get away with a 6 in stuff that's fitted through the hips and I have been wearing 10 or 12 in pants. Their sizing varies significantly though, so it could just be the specific items we're ordering. Every once in a while I will order something in an 8 and it will be too small, while stuff in a 6 from the same order will be too big. I almost always order stuff in multiple sizes thought because they have free returns.

i've tried a lot of their dresses and am always somewhere in between a 4 and a 6. there are some 6's that have been large, definitely.

you seem to be very different in terms of top vs bottom. my bottom is smaller than my top, and my waist is larger than proportional. i do find that asos things tend to be made for ppl curvier than me, so perhaps that is the difference. i have only tried dresses from them, and i have never found them to be very fitted in the hip area. in general if they're small/fitted on me, it's a restriction on top, not bottom, so maybe that's why you are having a different sizing experience.
