I am going to play safe and wear black pants with black jacket and may me navy or black top inside. I think that should work? what do you all think
i like the mango version better actually. perhaps it would actually be long enough for me to wear as a dress! :lo l: i like that it has a zipper.
you are totally correct in the conditioned shopping. tho i'm more drawn to deal-shopping than point-based shopping - i.e. i probably buy more from vs during src time or during the holiday gwp time. the points are just an added bonus that seem to occur during these other deal times (i.e. triple points in nov overlapped nicely with src's). i buy a lot, but i return a lot also... the express card is really good bc of the FS you get once you make a-list (and it's not very hard to get a-list).

i remember researching funeral wear a few years ago when i went to a coworker's. i think to be safe a conservative black dress (with sleeves - but it's cold where you are anyway) would be fine. probably "church wear" but in black (or possibly subdued colors - i read that a lot of places don't really require black anymore, but i would go with black just to be safe. definitely no bright colors) if you don't have a suitable black dress i'd think black dress pants or pencil skirt with black top would be fine too.
About Express CC, how much do i need to spend before i qualify for A-list? TIA

For JCP sizing I have only bought brand American living and MNG mango, so size could vary for other brands of JCP. Its only good if you can check it in store.

CCs make me spend more, which is why I try to avoid them. I needed a new wardrobe last year, so getting an Express CC made sense. I'm afraid I'd buy more of everything from VS than I need, if I got a CC.
I'm not Catholic, so I don't know the proper protocol for their funerals, but I try to always go with black or navy blue. Where I'm from, people don't necessarily stick to dark clothes anymore. I just feel like it's more appropriate. In NYC, they're probably less relaxed with the dress code...
You are right the Express dress has no splotches in it.

I had no idea of having food at the end of funeral. I would personally not feel comfortable eating after a funeral. But I think I will see and take it easy, after all its not about me. As long as I go there I think I will feel better. Any suggestion if we should bring anything when we attend the funeral mass? TIA

i went to jcp yesterday to try to find my shirt, but it was like a needle in a haystack search. i think i will just order online for ship to store. my store is remodeling or something so there were a lot of tarps and stuff everywhere. i couldn't even find my worthington tee.
do you know what happens if we pay with gc and then make a return? i'm not sure i'll need to spend very much... probably just 1 or 2 shirts. i will check out plastic jungle tho!
for express cc, you need to get 7500 points to qualify for A-list. that equates to $500 in spending, but i believe bonus points count (but i have not verified this) so you could potentially spend a lot less if you buy during bonus point times.
i have another one coming though. maybe that one is made better. otherwise, i may need to try XS.
