i haven't tried on the tulip dress recently but i really like the shape of it on me. it makes me look like i have hips. it's probably not the same as the extra fabric you're referring to. i have it in s, in gray and print.

do you have a steamer? they work good on ruching.
i don't. Frown i really need to get one. the ironing got rid of the weird bulge i was seeing, but there was still extra fabric. i think it's too big in the waist for me. it wasn't an amazing fit so i'm being Flex and returning.

i really like the shape of the dress, but like i said above, it just fit me weird. the waist was a bit loose and the ruching didn't take care of it. it looks weird. the one that i got was the black/blue print. i have a grey print coming - perhaps that one will fit better. i think it will be a really nice casual dress if i can just get a good fit!

i do think the current version has a little more fabric than last year's.

speaking of being Flex i made more express returns last night. i got back $280! Whee i still have to return DH's coat (the S fit him perfectly but he didn't like the wool bc it itches - i bought him a TNF jacket instead shake head it's more his style but i wanted to get him something different!) and i have some more packages coming this week.

i tried on the lace peplums last night and the S was loose on me. the XS was tight... i think it will fit me better when it's not that time of the month. i tried on 2 XS in store and they felt slightly different but not by much. i'm reconsidering it now.

Hopefully you'll get a better one. The one you have may just be defective.

I'm returning my tulip dress. Noticed it was $25. I' used to paying $20 or less for that style. I'll rebuy if it goes cheaper. I did get the red during the tick tock. It was $17 or $18.

That confirms the xs will be small on me. I'll still keep my s although the fit could be better. It's the best peplum fit for me. It looked very cute under a jacket. I'd just belt it on its own.

Because of the lack of coupons or sales nowadays. And we were so used to having both together.

i thought it looked nice with a pencil skirt on me. add a jacket and it'd be really cute. Smilie i swear the one i tried on the first time didn't feel that tight. i'm still in search of the elusive XS that was cut a tad larger. LMAO

We are spoiled. I think it's worth $25. I just have so many dresses that I'm being price sensitive.

I really like this dress. It's plain but I'm drawn to it for some reason.

i got so many skirts this clearance round. i got 2 herringbone (grey and teal), 1 corset (tweed), 1 green and 1 brown welt pocket, 1 black zip back. i'm still deciding on the zip back, corset, and brown. total i spent $90 on skirts! EEK!

i like the zip back because it's longer than the others and goes just a tad below my knees for a different look, but i got it in a 2. the 0 is probably a better fit though i'm surprised the 2 fit and didn't look large. maybe it's supposed to sit higher. the corset is interesting bc it's different. the brown is a nice neutral color and i don't have a brown skirt. what to do?!

my tweed shipped yesterday. so did the coat. i'm so happy because i didn't think either would ship.
i'm trying to decide if i should keep the elastic waist with the animal print around the bottom. it's kind of funky. i skipped it in store but bought it online when it popped up in my size.
