Censored OK, my bad experience with Express CS.... So I spent a $90 reward and a $10 reward on an order, to have my re-buy of a peacoat go OOS on me ($50).
  • First time I call (to the special CR line), they say it should automatically re-instate the reward within a week (which we all know not to be true, and probably only possible if there is only 1 item in the order).
  • Second time I call (today, to the regular sales line), they say they can't do anything about it, that it is just lost. They offered me free overnight shipping Angry That gave me nightmares of K's days with Express so I said I wasn't interested.
  • Third time I call (5 min later, special CR line), I am told they cannot re-instate a partial reward (i.e. $50 on a $90 reward)...Part of me thinks they can't do anything besides $15 increments (so duh, gimme 2 $15's and 2 $10's!). Since I had previously bought the exact same coat, I requested a credit for the coat from the order. She checked with her superior, again, no. They will however give me $50 off 1 item from online and there is a note on my account about it. Fragglefreakingfragglefarker.

let us know if you figure out a good system! i would love to create a catalog as well. like, set up an internal webpage and program it to be color coded and coded for type (blouse, tee, skirt, dress, etc). Scratchchin

sorry this happened to you. Frown hopefully you'll be able to use that on a clearance item if it pops back up. anything you want me to watch out for for you? what color/size of peacoat?

so now we know -- if you're going to order something, order only 1 thing so that if it gets cancelled the reward goes back to your acct. (and yes it does get automatically reinstated as i tested last weekend).

Currently- I'm using the google slideshow doc. I could see how the data form would work. You could tag things with formality, color, style, cold or warm., etc. You can add images to that I think... Then you could do a search in the spreadsheet it generates and it would have the photos there too. A lot of work, but could be neat. I won't have time to experiment until next week.

thanks. It was the XS Peacoat in plum or red. It was such a PIA...I'm worried to have it happen again. Yes- one item, although with those big rewards, hard to find 1 thing that kills the $90 one. Annoyed

I'm curious how this will work out as well. I've been keeping pictures of the stuff I've been getting at VS, but I see that I should probably do it for Express as well. When I finally go through my stuff once a year, I'm constantly surprised at the things I have. shake head

Just called to try to snag the identical peacoat but they can't see it as in stock in their system... (while I'm hitting refresh 200 times on it sitting in my cart). She read the note back to me- Off 1 item. I'm not going to argue it since I went from "sorry it's gone" to "$50 Off 1 item". It does sound like she'll do the $49.99 no problem... Guess I'll try to snag any number of coats I previously bought from clearance or hope a dress I want goes on sale. Dontknow OK, off I go!

Just got this tank [express.com] in the mail today. It's super cute.....I'm glad that it's a little more fitted than it looks on the model. It could easily be dressed up or down. Hope everyone had a good week! Not sure if it has already been mentioned, but BBV bras are buy one get one for $25 this weekend in store.

i got my portofino shirts and i have to say - i kinda love them. i think they will be perfect for work! i got the XS and don't find it snug in the hips at all. however, the sleeves when rolled up only hit my elbows. i think it's due to my shoulders being too wide. it's not bad enough to get a larger size bc the rest of the shirt fits perfectly, but it's annoying that my shoulders limit me so much. the sleeves are perfect in length when unrolled tho, so that's good.

i'm so glad i have an alternative to button down shirts! they were pricey when i got them but it's ok - that's what rewards are for, right? Smilie i'm not 100% sure about the colors i got (bonfire and grape) but it's so hard to choose colors!

also, i got a HUGE box of shoes from amazon today. a bunch of them are going back, but i tried those nine west pumps in 7.5 that i got earlier this week in 7 and the 7.5 is an amazing fit. they're not large at all, and they don't make that farty noise anymore! woot however, i'm not sure about the taupe color i got. it's a couple shades darker than my skin color so it's not a great nude shoe, but they are soooo comfy. i guess now that i know i definitely want these shoes, i can order from somewhere else... but they tend to be pretty pricey everywhere. should i just get them in black as a simple black pump to go with all my new skirts?

i also got some naturalizer black pumps that are pretty comfortable, with 2" heels, real leather, for $30. i feel like that was a great deal. should i keep those, and also get these nine west pumps in black? haha not sure what to do...

I also have the armpit fat because I need a tighter band, but can't be seen under clothes, so that's okay. I really think that we are conditioned to not have armpit fat because of the photoshopping of those models! nod
