they most of the times allow me to even exchange with receipt. no matter how much i paid in the invoice, they override their price to match. they can do it, it's just a matter of if they are willing. i don't do it much so that they won't think i'm abusing, so when i really want it done, it's easier for me to ask.
it was an even exchange $ wise but it wasn't the same item. i shouldn't have asked. i was debating about it the whole time he was processing the many returns... it was bad judgment on my part.

anyway not sure if you missed my earlier post, but the e*bates browser app thing is really great to make sure you remember cb. i mean, mrr is usually higher for express, but i'd rather get some cb than get none, and e*bates reminds me with the app so it's really easy to apply the cb.

they let me do that too, if the 2 items are same retail price. sometimes i exchange color or size, which i feel is more justifiable, but i've exchanged with different style. they just ask me sometimes how i got the price and i say i forgot, probably with coupons. if they deny, i just return. if it was color/size exchange, i try to reason out, they call manager and they ok.

laugh out loud your store must be nicer than the one i went to then! i didn't have the energy to reason with them that one time. Dontknow i've only done even exchanges like 3 times before. i just assume they won't allow it. i also didn't have the invoice with me, and i'm sure the guy was not happy that he just took over $300 loss on my returns.

i didn't want to return my $5 shirt - i just wanted a different one!

Anyone have any suggestions for unique Easter basket candy or other treats? As my DS ages, he has outgrown most candy, including most chocolate (Crazy I know). I need some unique ideas. If we were going to WDW before Easter, I would have bought candy from the Epcot Countries, but I don't think we'll get over there this month. He likes to try new things, so candy from other countries would be great. Though, it is just candy, so I don't want to pay a ridiculous amount to get it shipped here. Unfortunately, our area isn't very diverse, so we don't have any ethnic stores in my 5 mile driving radius. Teehee

I keep seeing posts about VS unlocking SRCs. What's that all about? I don't have any SRCs yet. EEK!

I also sometimes wish I could wear coats more. I tried so hard to resist that one.
At least, we get to start wearing our cute spring clothes & sandals sooner. Girly

:no d: You have a good memory. Last year she picked a fight w/ me, then my brother. This year the parents have invited along some friends so she'll be on her best behavior for hmm... a good 24hrs before her first meltdown :roll eyes: . This will also be year number 4 or 5 that we rent a car and they want rides everywhere (but never offer to defray our expense and never rent one of their own). We're cutting our trip w/ them short by a few days so we can visit another island on our own. This keeps the memory of the trip pleasant, buffing the scuffs out that SIL puts in so easily... :s ly:

Thanks for checking :te ehee:
About that model you mentioned before yeah- I agree, they use her too much. They also cut them off at the nose and hers distracts me . I do wish that they had a few different models and categorized them as 'straight', 'curvy' and 'size 6 +', then had each one model the clothing and had a photo we could look at. Sooo many times it looks nothing like the model on us. It would be so helpful and save them money on returns :b ulb:
The extra vacation days sound nice. It's great that you get along with your inlaws so well. A couple hours in the same room with mine about maxes me out.

I always think the same thing about that model. The clothes aren't the first thing you notice. You're right about the way they cut the tops of their heads off. That doesn't do her any favors. She would probably look better with a full face view. It would be nice, if they had a variety of model sizes. I really wish some of them were more curvy. I used to wish for shorter models, but most of Express' clothes are on the shorter side anyway.

In addition to the $10, $50, $100 & $500 values, there will be SRCs worth $25 &$75 due to us unlocking the values via social media.

cowlneck dress in floral [express.com] - cuter than i imagined. lining is also printed so it shows through the sheer outer layer. the xs i have right now works, but i'll see if the s is better when my tick tock order comes in.
lace jacquard sweaterdress [express.com] - fits like liggie dress but 3/4 sleeve. the problem is the ruching goes all the way to the bottom, and my skinny legs don't like that. hem flares out at the sides Frown
shorts - i like many of the ones i ordered Paperbag but they are all maybes for now.
bought this [express.com] in size 2, in dark and in white. fit is good. but the white is see-through.
crochet shorts in 2 - fits. cute. may be too short.
cotton shorts [express.com] - ordered in this print and in ikat. nice, more dressy. good length for the older crowd laugh out loud
all these shorts are a bit big on the waist.

Early this morning I ordered Lace Hem Hi-Lo in ivory/black [express.com] and metallic lace stripe layering tee [express.com] for about $7.50 each woot (Did not know I hadn't used a $15 off???)
I can now confirm that there is no beneficial overlap in the morning. Frown

I was up all night trying to make gluten-free cookies for St. Patty's day. Yawn fail fail fail FacepalmThey will be covered in frosting so hopefully that will keep them together...sooooo crumbly and frail...ugh.

nod To think I used to be too cheap and would talk DH out of the extra days! We've taken a short trip or two with just the parents and it works well for about 2-3 days. They bicker w/ each other a little, but for the most part are kind/generous/accommodating people. I do feel lucky in those rare instances.

About your son's Easter gift, how about Amazon? There are tons of neat Japanese desserts out there and a lot of these [amazon.com] look like what I saw last week when I was buying sesame crabs for my bro's b-day at the Japanese market. "Look boy, I got ya' crabs!" LMAO The pastel colors are Spring-ish

Is Ulta's return policy the same as Sephora? Can I try it and return it?

yes and no. you can return anything that you have a receipt for, within the stated return policy period (i think it's 90 days or so?) regardless of whether you've tried it. they do not do no-receipt returns, however - YMMV on no-receipt exchanges but generally i think it's a no. i think if you return after the 90 days (or whatever the time frame is) it goes on store credit, which as of a couple of years ago was still issued on carbon paper and not on a gc.

so yes, you can definitely try it and return if you don't like. oh, if your item comes with a free gift, they will ask for it back. at least that was my experience many years ago.

what do you usually put in your baskets?
mini kites, temporary tattoos, bubbles? maybe some novelty items from urban outfitters? ..not sure how old your DS is now?

how about macarons? or you can always try fun new recipes and bake for him Smilie candy molds?
