thanks for all the deals. the express maxi's are stupid long tho! it's like they decided that short dresses are for short people and long dresses are for tall people with nothing in between for us average/regular height ppl. shake head i'm going to break up with express soon.

how long are maxi's supposed to be anyway? i got one from ny and co and am surprised that i like it. it wasn't a spectacular deal but it was around $20 and reeeeally comfy - even DH approved (but i have to belt it - without a belt it looks awful). it's that slinky comfy knit material that will likely shrink and it's already a few inches off the ground right now but i think it could work with flat sandals... i'm not sure. Scratchchin

however the length on me is kinda like this:


and i'm not sure if it would shrink to get even shorter. it should be ok at its current length, right? it's super comfy and i like how the navy and white looks with a red belt. i would wear with flat sandals or flats.

Their clothes run huge. I can not shop there. 99% of it is way too big.
I like that length. If they are too long they get in your way. I already have a 6 year old that trips me up. Don't need my clothing doing it too.

that's true - longer and you run the risk of stepping on the dress. ok, i'm keeping it! bounce

i also got this one [nyandcompany.com] which is very similar and also super comfy. i got the grey and not sure if i should keep it also... looks like a nice summer casual dress and i like the length on me (similar to the model):


maybe i like ny&co stuff better! i got an XS blouse and it fit me in the shoulders - i was shocked. laugh out loud it does run extremely large tho.

I like that one too. It would be great for a casual summer dress. I gave up on ny&co while ago. Clothes are just a little too big on me.

They do have pretty clothes though.

i guess it's good to change things up a bit. i guess i am keeping both those dresses. liggy can you let me know if i got an OK deal on them? they were around 20 each.
