I usually cook in sweats. It's annoying to have the smell of fried stuff on you, so yeah, much easier to just cook and take the apron off and throw in the wash!

You talked me out of getting 3 sets of the Marilyn style aprons especially since they said it's single layered. I just got one and two of the double lined ones.

I hope you get nice flowers. In my experience, my DBF always gets me flowers from FTD, but it seems like they just use local flower shops who have a deal with FTD. I've received some really really crappy flowers that look like they've been defrosted because they were melting when I got them and flowers that were just terrible looking. However, I've received some really gorgeous flowers. I guess it just all totally depends on what that shop has.

I wish he'd order straight from shops, but I can understand that he doesn't get that good of a deal that way anyway.

The red belt makes that dress. TBH, I wasn't that crazy about it in the first pic., but it looks great with the belt. It's amazing how much difference a splash of color & a little cinching in the waist can make. The tulip dress looks great on you too.

I always look for arrangements online, then call the local florist to order my MIL's flowers. I usually order a more customized arrangement using the online arrangement as a example to start with. I can usually get it as cheap or cheaper, even if I ask for more expensive flowers to be added. If I stick with exactly what they have online, they charge the online price. Confused She lives in a small town, so that may not work where you live. It's worth a try though. Also, it seems like they do better work, when you speak to the shop personally. That's the reason I started calling directly, even though I hate talking on the phone. If your DBF isn't totally opposed to the idea, he could try once to see how it goes. If he's hesitant, let him keep doing things his way. At least, you're getting flowers regularly. Thumbsup

Also, FTD pricing can be gimmicky, DON"T click on any links for 20% off or anything like that, or this price GOES UP to $36... sale regular price is $29.99, comes out a decent deal..

I had to go into chrome and use incognito mode, CTRL, SHIFT + N, so all the cookies would not register on the browser, otherwise it kept showing $36 base price without the vase.
