i don't think the express ones are bad quality. i just think BR has nicer quality than express, that's all.

little sis asked me to buy her the naked palette to take home when there was a free tsa bag worth $50. came with foil samples of naked foundation, udpp and travel size all-nighter. it came with full size sin e/s and curling mascara. i'm a little jealous. promo is over now though : (
does anyone have like a kitchenaid hand mixer? are those any good? iwant to start baking but i dont want to commit to anything super expensive. i saw some hand held ones that look promising..but they still cost around $70. wondering what's a good price and which ones are good?
ETA: I included the links, because I didn't know if you were wanting a hand mixer like in the link or one that looks more like a hand blender. I've never used the one that's like a hand blender & can't offer an opinion on those.

Handheld mixers make a flipping mess. A real huge pain in the butt mess. I used to like to bake when I was a kid, but that, coupled with the fact that I always had to clean up a mess made me bake less and less and less. Yes, I had a deep bowl, but it just wasn't enough. Yes, I tried to block the sprays with a paper towel, but it seemed like much of the ingredients were wasted flying out.
Then the Kitchen Aid stand mixer transformed my life. I've been a lot happier about baking and do it a lot more. Clean up is super easy. I can turn it on and walk away to prepare the baking pan, etc...and I don't have to worry about losing ingredients or cleaning up stuff that flew everywhere. I can make huge batches. Like 7-9 cups of flour huge. Saves time, saves grief.
Also, the consistency of the cake is SOOO much better with the stand mixer. Everything just mixes so much better. Things are fluffier, softer, and just overall better tasting. It makes baking a joy. I've baked the things I've given up on before by using the stand mixer and it's just fantastic.
I personally think that for the ~$70 difference, it's worth it to get a Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

i wonder if they stack with a src. i tried to use the wrapp in one store and my phone didn't have service and i just told them i'd wait til later because i didn't want the hassle.
it's prob ymmv and will depend on SA.
My DH is 6' 1" & has a 32" waist. He tried one polo on at Express & decided M was the best fit. The ones I bought haven't been opened. I hope they fit like he said. Hopefully, they'll hold up, if he wears them for weekends & trips only. He's been forbidden from wearing any of his newly bought clothes to work or around the house.
