Oh man, what a fantastic week. Over the last two days, I just learned I won a big teaching award (cash prize), research fellowship (research cash prize), and I submitted a photo for my gym's photo contest (cash prize), and i won that as well. It's a pretty cool picture of me kicking over a 6 foot bag and above my head. I'm feeling really good today, which is nice, considering how down I've been about school lately.

On top of that, earlier this week, I used an AR to get a Plumtastic Unforgettable top. Well, I was just checking through clearance, and item CD-292-549 is available in Plumtastic in my size for $7.99. Sure beats the $28.50 bottoms I had put off buying because I didn't like them that much.

What luck.
Congrats!

Thanks for the heads up on the BO items. I have 1 on BO til June and I just got it at regular price, so I figured it should be okay.

Got my Lemon Shorts [victoriassecret.com]. They fit superbly! I am just not used to the long inseam, so I might roll it up. I don't like the cut-off part, but it's not too bad. I love the pattern enough to keep! Whee

I got shorts from VS once and they were size 4 that I consider as my "fat shorts" because they are loose all around. I'm happy to have found shorts that work since I have trouble finding nice fitting shorts, but sad that they only offer 2" inseam + low rise for this style. Want to try the Eva shorts, but I know I will be unhappy with the length. May try to see how much I can roll it up

The 2 fits really nicely with these - thanks for the size rec Nerdi.

So many people in the keurig thread were writing about how awesome the stainless steel one is, and how they've had them for months and they look like new... people were buying extras too..

I ended up buying a stainless steel one.. I didn't call FIL yet Embarrassment, but it won't go to waste..

i LOVE my keurig - one of my favorite wedding gifts that we received. i use it daily. if she wants one you should def tell FIL to get one for her. get the programmable one (b60 and up) and not the vue type.

i would get the stainless steel over the silicone ekobrews. i love my stainless steel ones and they don't show any wear at all. i just ordered 2 more so i can be lazy and not run out. laugh out loud
oops just saw this, thanks!

I just boil water in the kettle and I use *GASP* instant decaf coffee... DH teases me, why do I even drink coffee if it's decaf... I like it Embarrassment
For me, if I bought a keurig, I'd want to use k-cups, mostly because I wouldn't drink enough coffee where it'd be expensive to use them, but I'm lazy too, don't have a dishwasher.. Smilie

Coverlaugh I can relate! However, I had bought case of kcups starbucks at Costco and it was icky! Cleaned my machine out, but still not liking it. I wounder if "fresher" bag coffee makes a difference in taste? I have a refillable one but it's a PITA! Think of trying one of these refillables to see how it goes?

I love mine. Sorry I skipped some of the conversation earlier when I was out. You want a bigger tank if you drink a lot. If not the smaller one is ok. I think the mini you have to refill with every cup.

DH has a nokia 1208 prepaid tmobile phone... with the $100 for 1000 minutes no contract option, he spends roughly $150-200 a year for it... not bad at all, but if you look up that model phone, it's as basic as it gets... he'd probably be mad at me if I bought him the latest slickdeal for a smartphone that would work on a prepaid tmobile plan.

The smaller ones seems like the best option to suggest to my FIL to buy for mothers day.. She doesn't drink too much coffee, but she'd also be annoyed with having to wait for it to heat up with the mini..
