Are all strappy, wedge sandals unsteady to walk in? I'm always afraid of breaking an ankle, but wear mine anyway. They're too cute not to wear. I'm wondering if it's just the 2 pair of wedge sandals I have or if they're all kind of narrow & unsteady. The wedge clogs/slip ons I have seem more stable, but the heel is wider & not as high. There's also no arch indention like the strappy sandals have. That could make a difference. I'm thinking the size of my foot could be a contributing factor with the strappy, wedge sandals. There isn't a lot of foundation to work with. Should I be looking for different ones or all they all about the same?

i ordered these this weekend. i like this brand. don't know anything about it other than they make kick ass shoes in my size . i see this brand at tjmaxx too sometimes.

Sorry for the long response, but I really think I am done with VS unless there's a really good sale going on, and I will definitely cancel my VS card after this ordeal is finalized. It's unfortunate for them as I spend $$$$ with them. But it's become too much work and exhausting. Sorry for the long rant again.

I'm dreading it too. After I send in my last returns, I think I will cancel my VS card. It's been too much of a hassle to shop with them lately.
To answer your answer, I'm not sure if copying the invoices will help, though it couldn't hurt. I received email confirmations for all of the returns that I sent back and most were correct. There were two that I paid full price (used no offer code other than free shipping) for but they deducted an unknown "adjustment" of about $40 each. I hate speaking to them so I just ate that loss. However, I noticed that my refunds that were supposed to go back to the VS card did not match my calculations (I sent back a lot this time so I kept a spreadsheet of it all- first time I ever did this). I referred to my spreadsheet and checked it 3x. Sure enough, there were about 5 orders that were not credited back to my VS card. I also checked other forms of payment that I used, and all the other refunds were fine. The only ones I'm missing were from my VS card. It's just too shady for me.

Several years ago, I sent back a return of bras that I bought for my mom and sisters but didn't fit right. I included the original invoice and everything else that came with the bras. VS decided that I must have stolen these bras and refused to issue me a refund. I told them to check my account as all the bras I returned were purchased via my account. They still insisted that I must have somehow stolen these bras and refused to issue a refund. I was really upset and said that they can't just refuse to issue the money as I have proof that I purchased these. They wouldn't budge so I asked for them to send the bras back to me. They also refused. A few days later, I ranted to my lawyer friend. He made one phone call on my behalf using the same argument that I previously tried with them, and they immediately issued a refund in the form of a check to me.

it depends on how wide the bottom is for me. some have really narrow bottoms and they are harder than stilettos for me. Try Born wedges. They're not the cutest, but they are the most comfortable wedges for me.

Sorry for what you had to go through with your returns. It sounds like using a CC other than the Angel card is better for you because you can just dispute those charges. Those are really frustrating things for a customer to go to and highly unnecessary.

I don't blame you for wanting to close your CC. What is going on with them? We've seen so many complaints lately. It's like they're purposely cheating people hoping to get away with it.

that's really shady. i'm no longer into vs also. i'm hoping not to be into shopping in general soon. i'm organizing my closet right now, and i'm thinking it would help me see all i have and lessen my shopping craving. hopefully my long vacay will help me break the habit too.

I support your wish to shop less and reorganize. I reorganized my closet and donated 4 large trash bags of clothes last month. I've also been trying to shop less as well, but reading this thread everyday as I love to do disagrees with my plan to shop less. We must be strong, K!
