You can probably just sell that BM dress for the price you paid. I just finally sold my BM dress on the bay for half the price I paid. Glad to be rid of that ill-fitting dress!

Also, random good thing that happened to me. Remember I told you I needed to buy that $265 Brides maid dress? I saw one on ebay in blue in a size 2 (my size in that dress). I asked if she by chance had a purple one (why not right? who knows where these things come from). She said that she had a purple 2 and would sell it for me for $65 I got it in the mail a few days ago, and it's PERFECT.

i did that last night when i went to the mall.

nords wouldn't just ship out 3 samples by itself, would they? i ordered cc cream but it's backordered till 6/12. however, i got a shipping notice for the 3 samples i chose at checkout. is the gwp in there? i just didn't want it to go oos bc the item i ordered is backordered.

I actually forgot something worse.... I actually left the diaper bag... with 2 sippy cups full of milk. Will rot there for two months. Only other thing important there is the small camera I wanted to take for quick pictures, though we brought the big camera. DH and my sister don't get how I would forget that

Lol, I waited too long for shopping, but dug out an old express pencil skirt with an pink silk Ann Taylor shirt and black blazer with patent pumps! At least I will look good. Thanks for the reassurance! Dh said not too many people dress up here in CA, and librarians always wear skirts. Lol, not going to be a librarian but a job telecommuting to write grants. Fingers crossed it's a fit.

Also no salary was posted, hmmm. Googled grant writers and since I have 6 years experience I hope to make some $$, and working from home would be better. I have a nanny lined up too to share with a friend, lol. Hopefully only working a couple days

btw, were you the one that mentioned jcp ship to store sucks? i have sworn off jcp - they are horrible! they have super incompetent SA's working there and last time it took me over half an hour to pick up my packages. :rolley es: yesterday i went to return some items and the girl gave me attitude, like "you need to bring in the bag it came in" (they didn't need that before nor did they tell me that!)... and then proceeded to act clueless as to how to do the return. i had to tell her to scan the receipt :c onfused:.

That's awesome! I've been trying to instill in DH that it almost never hurts to ask.. That's how we got our TV stand at BB for $37.50, orig. $200... was discounted to $50 and DH was ready to just grab it and go (had a small 3x3in hole on the side, not visible how we have it positioned).. we see an employee, I ask if there's anything they could do on the price if we take it right there and then, he gets the manager, manager gives us an extra discount 25% additional..

As far as Ebay, I love finding things there sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes I look for a particular item, like the time I found a VS PINK top that I had, but mine was getting very ratty, and it was my favorite top, found a like new one of the exact top..

And of course, Ebay is where I found my 3 wedding dresses
Maggie Sottero dress I bought but decided to scale down the wedding, so sold it for more than I paid, then I bought a BCBG dress sz 10, and then, I wasn't sure I'd fit it by the time the wedding came, so I bought another BCBG dress sz 12 from the same seller... I've never worn the backup dress.. it sits in a box in my closet, it's beautiful, may wear it when I go to South America for New Years Eve again... White parties over there, it's a Brazilian tradition that other countries in South America do, and the dress I have would be perfect for that.. floorlength, classic, some chiffon, not see-through, and flattering..

That sounds like a potential for disaster on all your vacations. I think I'd tell my DH it was time to start traveling as a couple. We traveled with one of my BILs once. I told my sister I love her dearly, but never to ask me to travel with him again. It's not happening. Two of my BILs are good to travel with, but I wouldn't want to travel with any of them on a consistent basis.

Heyall - I'm back but busy- the Breast Cancer Fundraiser is tomorrow. I've been having a good chuckle at all the sizing inconsistencies on the Sailor Shorts from Express. Exactly what my experience was so I'm glad I'm not going crazy!

Redwood National Park is beaaaauuuutiful! I would put it up there with the parks in Nevada (Arches, Bryce Canyon, Zion) that I love so much. The car mates were lucky there wasn't enough room in the trunk for them . Here's the biggest surprise of them all- while wifezilla was as rude as heck and just wanted to play drinking games and not explore (Yeah, that's why we flew in & drove 7 hours ), husbandzilla (my DH's friend) was the worst! This is our third time camping with him and he has totally changed. I feel bad for my DH, it's definitely not the guy he knew. Neither of them lifted a finger to set up camp, were whiny and totally selfish (hiding things in their tent that they didn't want us to use - paper towel, scissors, knife, hand soap - ugh!). Luckily, he was there to stand next to me while I was loading up the car and direct me. It was pouring rain and he said I should take my poncho off (my rain jacket had soaked thru) to cover something wet in the trunk so his pack wouldn't get wet. Sure dude, better your pack stay dry than me..... The two of them were "princesses" and you know how useful those are when you're camping... I'll spare you all the details, but there are some prize nuggets I'll share when I get a chance
