i'm excited for it! though it will probably be a few inches long for me considering how long that lace dress was... but i the pattern so much. i almost used a reward on it blindly... but it's too difficult to exchange for size i think. i hate how unpredictable their sizing is.

it is a cute dress. i'm jealous their maxi's are too long. i should break down and start altering stuff. i just think it's silly because i find too much stuff that doesn't need altering.

yeah i know what you mean. i hate having stuff altered but sometimes i do think it's necessary. i have another maxi from them that's super long that i need to wear heels with. i hope i can do the same with this one, as it's sort of dressy so i would probably want to wear heels with it anyway.

i just got birthday emails from vs. i got less this month than last month, even though my bday is in june. now i'm just waiting for express! i really hope it's on its way...

Yup, I bought both colors in 2 and 4. I'll have to see what I think of those. I wasn't crazy about the blue until I saw it on you. It looks like it hits you at the knee, which judging by the picture, is where it's supposed to hit you. It just looks like a more conservative dress than what I may want. I'm excited for it to come in.

i like the blue. it's pretty. it hits a little below my knees. i think it would be cuter if it hit right above them.

The thing about express is that the way we buy these dresses, the alterations would cost just as much as the dress itself. There's always another dress if one of them isn't perfect.

agreed. that's why i am so against it. i should consider altering maxi's just because i'm short and they're hard to find in petite sizes. i just don't wear maxi's that often. they're really pretty but get in my way and on my nerves.

and make it that much harder to keep up with ds .

I have the opposite problem with short dresses, but I can't make those longer. I size up in the skater and fit and flare dresses to S, which has some extra fabric in the waist but look great with a belt. The extra 1-1.5" on the bottom make a huge difference for me.

Oh, I meant to ask you. Did you keep that one-shoulder floral dress or the strapless floral dress? I'm hoping those go on clearance as well...

When ds was a toddler he used to try to hide under my maxi's too. Thought it was a tent or something .

I'm thinking about those dresses. I like bright floral dresses. I loved that bright pink and orange one from last year.

Also, I should have posted about this tank. I love love love it. I have it in black and white, and my store has it in red and blue. I want both. I think it's really flattering. The XS was a little tight in the boobs, so I sized up to a S.

it's so sad that i have no interest in anything at express these days. i totally forgot to order during the 1000 point bonus days. there's really not much that i want either...
