i think it's that store i used it at! they are annoying! i had my stuff all picked out but then they told me no. Annoyed i think i ended up using it at one of those 40% off the whole store sales.

thanks!
weird that yours didn't come in the mail yet. i still need to remember to use it... but i'll have to find something >$40 probably.

wow, i can't believe they're blocking you! that is really annoying - i placed orders from asia from the ipad over xmas break. i wonder if they changed something in the website overhaul to block that.

is your cancellation email similar to the ones we get when something is oos?

i just realized i have a bday gift from missha. it's a 20ml thing of the perfect cover bb cream in #27. i've been wanting to try that shade, as i think it'll be the best match for me. but i'm not sure i want to pay $9 shipping... that's a little steep.

i've had issues with the perfect cover formula before (i thought it was too drying and it irritated my skin) but i'm a bit more oily now so perhaps it might work. i'm not sure... i've been trying their snail slime bb cream [skinandtonics.com] (sounds gross huh... i picked this up in asia over xmas) and the formula seems to work ok for me. apparently it's for skin much lighter than mine, but i usually use bronzer to darken my skin a bit.
I thought that missha one broke you out because of the mineral oil. I remember you posting about that because I was also breaking out...then, I realized that I was allergic to mineral oil.

oh, i realized that it's not the mineral oil! i discovered that my skin is perfectly fine with mineral oil, as i have a couple cheap moisturizers from the boots sensitive line that are predominantly mineral oil and my skin is fine with them. i only tried it a couple of times but my skin got irritated (but i didn't get pimples - just red bumps on my cheeks). i thought (after ruling out mineral oil) that maybe it was just drying out my skin too much and irritating it that way, since that happened to me with a lot of other foundations i had tried. i'm sort of wanting to try it again... is that a bad idea? laugh out loud

i think i'm sensitive to too much silicone though... but in all honesty i usually am never 100% sure what is irritating my skin at any given moment.

i thought you liked it... did you like any of their bb creams? i forgot... it's been awhile since we've discussed them here.

I thought I liked it and that I was just breaking out from stress. Then, I stopped using it, and my skin cleared up, and I realized that I was allergic to it, so I gave it away. I liked the M Signature Real Complete BB Cream SPF25 and still sometimes use that. However, I'm pretty loyal to my lancome foundation that I've used since I've been about 14. I also really like the MUFE HD. That one may actually win out...

i'm not partial to lancome at all (in fact i tried one and it gave me the same irritation) but MUFE HD is one that i do like. it looks really great in photos and they actually used that on me for my wedding (with an airbrush). i just have this hoarding problem... hahaha. plus i prefer bb creams over foundation for everyday use.

i remember that i liked the signature real formula also. perhaps i should forget about the "free" bday gift...

no, i'm going to return it. i think it's too moisturizing for me and makes me oily - i fear i will break out from all the oil my skin is producing.

Oh I see. I'm still like the Jane iredale bb and powder. All the foundation I have is so old I'd be afraid to wear it. The makeup artist at my dr wants me to try some of the ji but I haven't yet. I need to get some though. Its either ji or mufe. I've just been lazy lately and haven't wanted to try anything new.

I like the formula of mufe mat velvet better than HD for me. It wears better and I don't get as oily. But HD is probably still better with photos.

I just get in these moods of wanting to try new stuff. I had the sephora sa put the new mufe powder foundation on me in store the other day. It comes in shade #s just like the HD foundation, but runs dark. I wore it for about 10 seconds before I had to get it off - my skin was suffocating! I don't understand how ppl use powder foundation... I can't handle it. I actually wiped everything off in the store BC I was so uncomfortable in it.

I can't stand anything heavy on my skin either. That's why I don't want to try that foundation Teehee. My skin is happy right now so I don't want to rock the boat. The products I'm using are effective and not breaking me out so I'm scared to mess with it. I do like trying new things though. its fun!

it's funny because i never used to wear foundation, but i've gotten used to it and i don't feel it anymore. that powder was a big no-no though, and i felt like it really emphasized pores since it was so matte. and i felt my skin getting drier by the minute. i prefer bb creams since they're lighter, but i can handle foundation if i need it. i don't think i could ever handle that powder...

i go back and forth too. most of the time i don't want to try. but i've been in a mood!

I like the mineral powder. I just have to be careful and not put too much on. I also like some Laura mercier looser powder that is white (like that mufe stuff). It keeps me from getting oily. The mufe is nice too but it was making my face white in photos so I switched. The lm doesn't do that.

Lately I've been playing with different blush, bronzers, and eye makeup. Its fun. I don't mind mixing that up.

went to VS last night (South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach) and there were a lot of inventory left (bras, panties, sleepwear, PINK). the bras were additional 20% off, other items price as marked. lots of beauty stuff left as well, some were 65% off. some of the "classic" scents of lotions/sprays/shower gels were 3 for $15 or 5 for $20.

also had to hit up Express...additional 40% off clearance, but the selection wasn't that great, I left empty-handed.

there's a Limited there and they had a LOT of stuff on clearance, but some of the things are still kind of expensive compared to when they do additional x% off. I did leave with 2 items that were final sale so the prices were right.

I'll be hitting up another mall tomorrow and will keep yall posted.
