A place here replaced an ipod screen for $100.. I am sure the Ipad is more, but consider that when we got it back, the power switch got screwed up too as a result of their repair attempt.
They fixed that for free.
I dunno.. I am big on DIY, but get a quote on a repair. I think this is one thing that's sometimes worth paying for..even though I could DIY it, just such a hassle.
If nothing else, get a quote before you decide so you can see how much $ you save diying..

today was so shitty, i'm starting to wonder if i even want to keep my job. i mean, i know that i need to keep my job (duh, paying bills is kinda important) and i know i love what i do, and i'll go so far as to say i love 75% of my coworkers - and that's really tough to find.
unfortunately the above average paycheck, awesome coworkers, and the fact that i love what i do...all of that just doesn't seem to be worth the overwhelming stress and anxiety i've been suffering ever since my new supervisor came to town. the idea that it might never get better makes it difficult to get out of bed some mornings. for someone who has loved her job for almost 8 years, it's farking depressing that one person has the ability to change all that in such a short period of time.
