Let's see if I can get through today without having to drive anywhere.
That ruined it for my back, yesterday.

Edit: So of course, Crime-Warner Cable calls, and wants me to drive out there and pick up a box to replace the faulty one they provided last week.

i need an IT-type question answered, but only by someone who is 110% certain they know what they are talking about. laugh out loud

if i am logged into my personal Gmail account on my work computer (and obviously connected to the company's internet), can anyone in IT actually READ emails that i send or emails that i type up and save as Drafts? i know that IT is pulling my internet activity on a weekly basis because of the recent SD debacle. i just want to know if that detailed history will actually allow them to read emails i have written. or will they just see that there was internet activity with Gmail and nothing else?

this is extremely important laugh out loud

I believe that Gmail uses HTTPS by default, which would mean all traffic between you and Gmail is encrypted (and therefore unreadable). Pull up Gmail, and see if it has the little padlock in the address bar.

I think you said they have Websense there? It should keep you secure from that, so as long as there's nothing specifically installed on your workstation to snoop (there usually isn't).

Lots of fans are pissed. It's Harriet's release to do as she wishes, but I wish she'd get with the times Mad what's really the difference between now and April after years of waiting Roll

I was already pissed because they were selling the prologue for 2-3 bucks kindle in the weeks before the release. You know what, that was ridiculous.

She just wants it to be a #1 best seller, which I guess doesn't include digital sales yet? Doesn't look like it's working out that well for her, though laugh out loud
Also kind of silly when you think about it, since her dead husband didn't actually write this one.

Every justification they have for a delayed e-release is just frustrating. I almost caved and bought the book but now I'm mad and won't. It pisses me off as a consumer that I don't want to spend $20-30 on a big fat book that I have no room for Bomb I already gave away all of the other ones to a book swap. It's not 1990 anymore Ranting
