Don't forget the mantra that VQ taught you: it get's worse. After 100 hours of reading you'll think "nahhhh, that person didn't die, it's all just to make me think so but they'll be back..."
Yeah... nope.
But still awesomely written and you actually care about most of the characters. After you've read for a bit, I'll tell you who my fav is.

Unlike Nynaeve and Elayne. I want Mat to stab them in the farking face. While the last book was the best by far, this one is the worst. Just dragging on about people and places I don't care about. Mission to change the weather? Really? Give me a farking break.

I'm only 14% through book one but I hate hate hate the mean blonde twins Bomb - their crippled brother is an awesome literary tool- he seems like the kind of character that can be honorable or awful at any time, and both are completely believable - if he lives the next 5 minutes anyway laugh out loud

One thing that happened in Ebou Dar made me cry. Most of that storyline is ZzZZz - the girls should have just rotted in the Stone Roll

Lots of people thought books 7-9 were the slowest/most boring to plow through.

Seems like the heating element on the dryer is toast. Found a W/D set on CL I plan to call about tomorrow for $60. Measured the back of the Jeep, I think they should both fit in there.
Of course, the hatch itself hasn't been opening for a week or two, so I had to go out tonight and figure that out. The rod that actually releases the hatch when you pull the handle had worked itself completely out from the thingy that's supposed to hold it. I put it back and used pliers to tighten the holder.

When you finish Book 1 I'll send you a video of a guy's reaction to something that happens (he's reacting to the HBO series but it's the same as in the book).

God every time I see somebody reading one of those book son the train I just want to go over and say, "I'm so sorry, but you'll be okay." Sometimes it seems like only the bad people are going to make it all the way through.
