- cut a stick of butter in to tiny cubes and put it in the freezer
- sift 2 cups of flour
- add 1/4 tsp of baking soda
- add 1 tbsp of baking powder
- add 1 tsp of kosher salt
- mix in frozen butter
- add 3/4 cup buttermilk
- cut them out and put them on a cookie sheet or something
- brush the top of them with melted coconut oil
- bake at 450 until done

I basically multiply that recipe time 3 or 4 depending on my mood, but I still only use 1 stick of butter.

What does buttermilk do again? Oh adds tang, right?

So, I've been sitting at my desk at work this morning, after an exhilarating physical therapy session. So far, it's been okay. Today is a trial run to see how it goes, and I'm shocked I've not had to take any Vicodin, so far. (That's a good thing, if you happen to be keeping score.)

Make sure to keep your liver flushed after having to take all those Meds. Lots of h20 and some milk thistle if you think to pick some up.

Oh, definitely. I consume ridiculous amounts of water every day, just to help keep the inflammation at bay. I was fine this morning, until I went to lunch. Then it started hurting again, so I took my second anti-inflammatory today, and half a Vicodin to ward off any escalation of the pain. If I can sit at my desk until about 3:00 pm, I'll consider it a victory.

Hopefully continued PT will really help...I'm glad you're getting to cut back on drugs Big Grin I hope you heal up soon!!!
