Comfort Seriously. Don't pay for insurance on your own. Just let it ride, be safe, and stay healthy.

That's actually roughly on pace with rate increases for the last five years, considering it costs about $16k for my family this year.
Sad isn't it? All of those promises about bringing the cost of health care down . . . . and nobody even read it.

BTW, you may be able to get a break on your prescription costs if any of them aren't generics, by calling Astra Zeneca or Pfizer or whoever the manufacturer is. Or tell your doc about your situation, some of them will give you "samples" to get you by.

Not that I have any experience being poor and uninsured or anything laugh out loud

Are any of them the $4 generics that they offer at Walmart? or doesn't Walmart do that anymore?

Nope!
Those $4 meds would actually be more with insurance, but a good pharmacist will give them to you for $4 even if you have insurance.

The birth control (which is now $29) would cost me $9 at Walmart, but that's the only thing that is offered. Frown

Regarding my previous post: Although my employer claims they need my experience and want to keep me, my bet is on them offering me a severance package almost immediately. They're one of the shittiest corporations I've ever worked for, and I don't trust anything they say, at all.

No, not at all related to my current health issue.
It's 100% the result of my client's "insourcing" initiative.

I could see that too. Six months before they announced the closure of my last company, the CEO of the new parent company flew out to assure us that they would not be closing our location laugh out loud
