It's almost like "our whole building is going to shut off the power for three hours starting at midnight this Friday night" is something you'd want to mention to your IT consultant a little farther than three days in advance...

OH NO LET ME DROP EVERYTHING AND MAKE SURE I CAN REMOTELY TURN OFF YOUR SERVERS AND THEN MAKE PLANS TO BE IN TOWN FIRST THING SATURDAY MORNING TO TURN IT ALL BACK ON NO DON'T WORRY I DON'T HAVE A LIFE OR PLANS OR ANYTHING BETTER TO DO

my boss won't even charge them extra Annoyed

I'm half tempted to "forget" and let's test their server rack UPSes for grins... bulb
