Sassafrass is in a little bit of a whining phase, anyone ever have a dog who communicates that way? She's not injured, starved, sad-- she just walks around and whines because she can, or because she wants more attention or extra treats. I've never had a whiner before!!! Baby

It's important not to appease her when she whines, or she'll learn that whining achieves what she wants. It's a very annoying behavior (our adopted Yorkie does this frequently) so it's best to respond negatively and discourage the behavior.

Just my two cents...

Ahh I see. This just started and at first I was concerned she had an injury. Really it was 'waaaa look at me!!!'

Does anyone in here have an opinion one way or the other about this? [amazon.com] I'm thinking about getting it if I run in to some extra money. It is capable of MURS.
