Oh shit. If I were a cat of a man, I'd head to the hospital right now. That tick bite from a few months ago that hasn't gone away is starting to smell.

Since I'm not, I'll nurse it over night with some antiseptic and cut out the dead flesh tomorrow if it gets worse.
