they also had pickled beets with vidalia onions, and they're sooooooooo good (of course i love everything that's pickled) and then they had tamari roasted chickpeas Woot

Kidlet is out of contacts. Has an appt for Monday for a vision exam. Tells me she needs contacts for tomorrow because she knows she'll lose her glasses in the mosh pit. Her script is more than 1 year old so they won't fill it or give a trial of dailies. Had she not thrown out her last box (that has her script on it) and given me a week's notice I more than likely could have ordered some online.

Why do teenagers live in the land of the last minute?

Because they can! Because they have parents to make things right when they forget (or otherwise just don't care enough) to do them.

Tell her she's stuck wearing her glasses into the mosh pit. If she loses them or breaks them, then she'll be blind for a week until the contacts come in.

I only wear two kinds of perfume. Wouldn't you know that both of those bottles are on their last few squirts. It's Mom's Day weekend and that probably means all sorts of Free Gift w/ Purchase deals! Biggrin2
