Obviously he has too much time on his hands. Maybe you could make him read another series of books?

He is three and it is days like these that make me reconsider meds. I'm doing all that I can to figure out & treat the cause of this type of behavior. Diet, OT, structure, discipline, and on and on. He's a great big puzzle with a million little pieces. I'm doing my best to sort it all out. We blew through his $750 deductible in less than a month for his occupational therapy.

F1, congrats on even finding a tall girl who might be interested. Far too many are usually soooooo self-conscious about their height they never realize how attractive they really are.
I can't say she's interested, we just have a high match percentage... which has not necessarily correlated into a woman actually replying to me laugh out loud

Bad dream last night.

Saw a man in my front yard, noticed the door was unlocked, tried to beat him to the door, didn't make it in time, scary dude barged in, he took Mini Thrift and me hostage...Cold

I think this fever finally broke and I have rid it completely. My clothes were all damp this morning.

F1, Mini's Toshiba Satellite needs some work. The power connection on the inside of the machine is loose (it's been yanked around by little boys for a few years now) and will only connect if "wiggled" around. Anywho, it needs repair. How difficult on a scale of 1-10 would you consider the part swap? For your consideration, I have changed the digitizer on my iPad after El Jay dropped and shattered the screen on the wood floor. Toughest part about that was the wifi antenna and yes, I broke it when removing the broken digitizer.
That's a little hard to answer without actually seeing the solder joint and how precise the soldering will need to be. Can you solder? Scratchchin

El Jay's Shenanigans 5/11/13

I was taking the garbage out and he locked me out of the house. Keys wouldn't help as he locked the small bolt lock on the outer glass door. He thought he was cute while he danced around the living room chanting, "you can't get me" over and over. I sternly told him to open the door to which he scoffed. I pulled the big guns and asked him who would save him when the monsters come. Lickety split, the door was unlocked.

Oh and he already sucker punched his brother square in the nose.

I need to mow the lawn today...yeah, I don't see that coming to fruition. Annoyed

Signed,
Livin' the Dream

Or is it la vida loca?!?!

Okay, not sure if I can pull this off. The shirt isn't quite long enough.

And on an amusing side note, Pandora happening to be playing celtic-themed stuff while I was suiting up laugh out loud

what did the OT say?
Quote :
Sensory Modulation Disorder is one specific type of Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). Sensory modulation refers specifically to the brain's ability to respond appropriately to the sensory environment and to remain at the appropriate level of arousal or alertness. There are actually three primary types of Sensory Modulation Disorder:

Over-responsivity: An exaggerated response of the nervous system to sensory input. For example, people who get motion sick easily are over-responding to vestibular input (the sensation of movement). The nervous system goes into fight-or-flight mode even when no real danger exists.
Under-responsivity: A lack of response, or insufficient response to the sensory environment. Sometimes these people appear to be daydreaming or unfocused on what is happening around them. They may also be uncoordinated and have difficulty with motor skills development.
Sensory-seeking: The nervous system of the sensory-seeker needs intense input in order for the sensation to be registered properly in the brain. Therefore the sensory-seeker craves intense sensations constantly.
He is a sensory seeker to a T. The positive is that it is not a neurological defect but a disorder and with therapy we can reroute his response to sensory input to a more orderly or for lack of a better word "normal" fashion.

One day we will get there. I am El Diablo's biggest advocate. :yay:

Ran out of Mini's graduation announcements so I had to create another one. I cannot decide if I prefer the traditional script or the free flowing hand script. Scratchhead

The top looks more formal to me, but I like the second one too.

well I say how do you feel in them? If you feel comfortable, then go. If you feel like your drool will be on display and will feel awkward, then wear a longer shirt or pants instead of tights. Its rule one of getting ready, only wear what you feel comfortable/confident in, or you'll be adjusting and thinking of your clothes all day instead of focusing on having fun Bowdown

I'll have to ponder.
I may have to see how I feel without the vambraces on, I forgot how awkward they are. They tend to either be loose enough that I have to dink with them too often, or tight enough to be uncomfortable. But the sleeves are huuuuuge without them.

Yeah, totally not gonna happen without the vambraces. The shirt must have been made for a guy who was like 6'7" and 330lbs. The sleeves go a few inches past my fingertips.
