you dated a guy in prison with less drama
it's more along the lines of...well, i dunno how to word it
he's not the most attentive man on the planet
things that a hamster would catch onto seem to be completely oblivious to this guy
i know him well enough to know he's not just pretending to be oblivious
he really is that oblivious and clueless
there are a few societal norms that he just has no concept of, and i don't think he will ever fully understand and grasp certain aspects of the male/female relationship...and i'm not talking rocket science stuff here. i'm talking about some pretty basic communication skills, ways of talking and interacting with the opposite sex that you would think are pretty easy to grasp. i don't anticipate a long-term future with him, which is why i'm sorta giving him the benefit of the doubt here. i'm trying not to be too critical of (and annoyed by) his actions sometimes because he's not exactly an "investment". he's more like a scratch-off Instant Win lottery ticket.
