it would seem that on Wednesday May 8th, my ex was snorkeling in Playa del Carmen. Friday May 10th would have been our 5 year wedding anniversary, that is if our divorce hadn't been final on June 1st of last year. the rumor is that it was his honeymoon last week....
Nice...a "parting gift" ?

I sang/played along with Take It Easy, Sloop John B, and Message In A Bottle.
A guy came up a few songs after I did Space Oddity, and he told me he loved my cover. So yeah, I'll be honest, I was a little worried I was in an echo chamber regarding my singing, because I've only shared the links with people that like me.
And yep, it's definitely Requiem For A Dying Song that's straining my voice. I guess I just have a tendency to belt it out... and while it was unquestionably my worst performance in every regard (except volume and intensity), it got the most applause by far.
AG, we played Margaritaville, it made me think of you (I sang along with the chorus on that one too).
thats a nice idea played out really really annoyingly wrong!
