I didn't watch much of Voyager, but Deanna Troi was kind of annoying.. I wouldn't want her probing my mind either during sex.

Went to generate some data for a client, and one of the database columns is saying it doesn't exist. I created it, so I was pretty sure it should have been there. Double-check the code that references it, and yeah, that's what the column is named. Execute the code, and hey, it doesn't work, because the column is missing. Look at the database, hey, there's the table, no column, but there's another table named [this_is_the_table_old]--that one has my column.
So I mention to the other developer that this dashboard no longer works because the database schema has been changed.
"Oh, yeah, I changed it. I'm doing some refactoring"
I said, okay, well, either you can update this code and report so they fit your changes, or you can make your changes compatible with the code that's already built on it, I don't care which. Fortunately this is in all in dev, but damn, that's bad procedure.

On the show,she seemed to enjoy repetitively telling people how they were feeling.. That would get kind of old, although I'd put up with it
