me: blah blah greeting blah
her: yeah, i've been out of town and i just got home. my caller ID said that you all called me. what were you calling me about?
me: did that person leave a message?
her: well i haven't checked my messages yet.
me: Facepalm there are a lot of people in this office ma'am. you might want to check the messages and see who it was calling you.
her: oh alright, thank you!

but on the upside, a contractor just walked in to do some work elsewhere in the office, and he is a cutie patootie Girly
