That reminds me. This guy looked and "liked" my profile. So I checked out his and he seemed ok, I think he is a land surveyor and has a cabin some where. He sent me an email the next day, but it just looked like a generic email that he is probably sending all the girls. Nothing in it about me personally.

At the end of it, it says "I'm glad to see someone like you on here!" WTF does that mean?

I guess something specific about the "type" of person you are based on your profile? Hard to say.

Just fixed a fairly major bug that was somehow completely missed in dev, release, and THEN production testing last night Annoyed

I've been pushing them to do full application testing since December, since they tend to test one little feature at a time. There are so many moving parts in this system, that's really not adequate.
I mean, I KNOW it's a huge PITA and sucks donkey balls to do full app testing... but it sucks even more when clients are yelling at you about "how could this happen?!?"*

Um hi yeah I just wanted to complain about this new laptop you gave me? Yeah it's working great but it's not exactly like my old one and I don't approve of that. I need you to come by my desk so I can make you stand there while I show you how it operates flawlessly and exactly as designed? And I'll just make disapproving noises and express my displeasure at change in general. Would your lunch break be a good time for that?
