My poor parents were so worried. Dad didn't want to say but I could hear it lurking every time we talked about this. I finally said "Dad, I'm not gonna drink over this, don't worry about that." He sighed SO LOUD and said "thank you." Poor guy needs Al-Anon BAD.
No, it's not the big stuff anymore... it's the broken shoelaces I gotta watch out for now...
But you're 100% right - in the past, as soon as I saw that, before I even started trying to fix it - I'd be out to get a bottle b/c "how can I clean up this mess without a drink?"

My mom's a weight loss counselor and she just called me to share about a client (no names), She said the client lost weight, saw her ex at the grocery, and he suddenly wanted her again, now that she's looking better, feeling confident, etc.
Mom say's how does that make you feel
