F1, K needs to understand that both the kids' entire world has been flipped upside down. I'm pretty sure your girl sees it as "mommy left me and it's my fault". She is just trrying to cope with the what is going on. At her age it is normal for her to internalize all that is going on and act out. Mayhaps she's acting out with K because negative attention is better than no attention. I'll bet you eleventy seventy gazillion dollars that your girl is simply starved for mommy's love and attention. With the new BF her attention is elsewhere.

Dammit, I hate butt hinges!
