Looks great, but after browsing through several of the 90% off links there are tons of items NOT 90% off and even then its a gimmick as explained in several posts.

If you enjoy digging for the slim chance you may find something remotely useful, this is your dream.

I pretty much covered every amazon deal for the next few days. anything >70% off posted will now be considered a repost. I should add 50% off links.

you can actually find decent stuff if you use the amazon filters to narrow down results. I got a garmin nuvi 50L for 10.99 fulfilled by amazon. not sure what will show up but i like surprises when they aren't going to cost me anything.
By that logic, I can just post this...
80% off everything on the internet [google.com]
90% off everything on the internet [google.com]
Now everything over 80% off in any store will be a repost FOREVER!laugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loud

Not 90% off, but these are good prices for pairs of space-age modern barstools:

Bombo Stool Modern BarStool - White (Set of 2) $66.99 + Free Shipping (shipped by Amazon)
http://www.amazon.com/Bombo-Stool...B001G30QQI

Same model, in black, free shipping but not shipped by Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Black-Bombo...B005LXUR7W

A different model (oddly, with the same name) for $61.91, free shipping, but not shipped by Amazon. I found one eBay seller with a close price:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...SRFOWBS0Z9
Thanks Bought one pair of $61.91...

"Everything But Stromboli" is the store's name? Smilie

They could selling the real deal, but they could still very easily be hawking counterfeits, especially the bulk item that you're describing.

Not all counterfeits are alike. Some very unscrupulous vendors mark larger sizes on smaller cards. Those with a few more scruples use proper sized cards, but buy factory seconds that tested bad or slow then affix a name brand to them. The counterfeiters with the most scruples buy tested, perfectly good generic products from the spot market, than affix a name brand to them. Still, their quality may not be that of the name brand products.

It is so, so, so easy to put a logo onto a blank SD card. All it takes is a silk screen, some ink, and a squeegee. Really, a few dollars worth of setup, and it can be done on a counter top anywhere in China. The final seller would never have to know he's passing on bogus goods, though he'd be an idiot not to realize there's no other way to get name brand product so cheaply.
I know you're trying to help, but I can also assume you've been burned by one of these companies.

I'm not worried because I'm not a dummy- sorry if I offend any dummies out there. the company has sold thousands of camera accessories this year with impeccable reviews. They are based out of the US, they are a family owned business, and I see none of their negative reviews saying anything about fraud or counterfeit cards. So, while I empathize with you and what you're saying, to ward people off of ever buying from anyone other than Amazon is misleading: you're either assuming everyone is borderline retarded or all companies are crooks. Either way, I think you're assumption, no matter how good your intentions, are wrong.

Wow, I didn't know the list price on a peanut butter dog bone was over $80, man, glad I always got them on sale. What a joke. Maybe 1 in 50 items I found using this had a reasonable list price. Seems like with rare exception this is a waste of time. Most items are really pretty much normal price on these links.

It's not about smarts. Neither you nor I are smart enough to detect a well executed counterfeit memory card. Industry professionals often can't tell until it's too late. Bunnie Huang is a professional in the industry, here's his story of counterfeit memory cards. If Bunnie can be fooled, anyone can: http://www.bunniestudios.com/blog/?p=918

Memory cards are terribly easy to counterfeit and are quite valuable for their size. They're often only sold with minimal packaging or no packaging, particularly true with "bulk" cards. These confluences make them among the easiest items to counterfeit, and make memory cards one of the most counterfeited electronic items. It gets worse. Once a counterfeit is purchased, there is often no way to tell a well done counterfeit from the real product. Legitimate manufacturers often can't tell without extensive forensics, sometimes not even then.

What this means is that there is no way for an end consumer to guarantee they're getting a genuine product other than to buy from a large mega-retailer. "Everything But Stromboli" is not a mega retailer. They're probably buying from distribution, not directly from the card manufacturers. This means they could be selling counterfeit items without even knowing it. Given the ease of counterfeiting, it would be very profitable for distributors to salt counterfeits into an otherwise genuine shipments. Does it happen? Hard to say.

As I said, it's possible your preferred vendor is selling the real deal, but it's also possible that they could be selling high-quality counterfeits. They would not necessarily even have to be complicit. If the counterfeits were mid to high quality and they had good customer service, they could certainly have a lot of good reviews.
