Rain should be changing to snow in a few hours...first snow of the season. woot

They're expecting around 3" (twss Frown )...maybe more, maybe less.

I'm good with one or maybe two snowfalls a season...that's average for here. I don't need 3' a winter like we would get in NY, but I missed last winter when we didn't get any. We're heading to the mountains in NC/TN this weekend; I hope they get a lot so there is so left when we get there Saturday.

They are getting hammered right now. I have a cousin that posted on fb that there are roads being closed that have never been closed.

I just need I-40, then the Newport Hwy from Newport, TN to Sevierville, to be open on Saturday.

The nice thing is we don't have to travel far to get to the snow line, North Bend is only 20 minutes away and about 15 minutes past that are the ski slopes.

No...I heard about 411 earlier today. That's the scenic route to get there. Had to plan on going with I-40 because of 411 being closed.

All the pets got to go out on the deck to see the snow. laugh out loud
The two dogs weren't interested particularly...took them to the backyard; they wanted in quickly. The cat was more curious...had to chase her to get her back into the porch.

Was almost 80 degrees here last week. Raining every day for over a week, 2 inches of snow fell today in just a couple hours and not the fun snow. The wet sloppy stuff. Mid 20s tonight so it will be a frozen mess in the morning.

Yeah, we had 70s last week, rain all this week. Just over an inch or so of snow overnight - it was a mix of snow and rain...driveway is slick. Should be run driving into work today.
