LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Thousands of police officers throughout Southern California and Nevada hunted Thursday for a former Los Angeles officer who was angry over his firing and began a deadly shooting rampage that he warned in an online posting would target those on the force who wronged him, authorities said.
Disgruntled ex-LAPD officer writes a manifesto detailing how (allegedly) the LAPD is corrupt. He then starts a war with LAPD. He's rather specific with the (alleged) corruption details in his manifesto.

Apparently, the LAPD has already shot up at least two vehicles "matching the description" of the ex-cop's vehicle. The LAPD is randomly shooting up suspected vehicles (and people!)? What?
Quote :
Los Angeles officers guarding a "target" named in the posting shot and wounded multiple people in Torrance who were in a pickup but were not involved, authorities said. The extent of their injuries was not released. It's not clear if the target is a person or a location.

The Daily Breeze in Torrance also reports (http://urlhasbeenblocked/YWhBLi ) that there was another police shooting nearby involving another pickup truck, but the driver wasn't hurt.
Here's the manifesto:

turn on a tv.

I've never seen a law enforcement agency so completely petrified and paralyzed with fear over one guy... shooting random cars cause that LOOK like his vehicle, confusing old Asian women with a big black guy, surrounding their own headquarters, military bases on high alert, jail on lockdown... if he does nothing else, he has single handedly struck crippling fear into one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the United States.
They don't even know if he's in that area. He could be anywhere.

Riverside County...I'm kidding...it's not snow. But it's the first time I've seen ice/hail stick around for a while. Usually it just melts right away, and only when there's a thunderstorm.

I'm gonna venture a guess that he isn't in the area, 3 days in the snow, I don't think so. He is probably sitting back laughing while they surround a snowy mountain with arctic gear and enough weapons to take over a small nation.

Yeah I read it... I find it odd that they can't find a 270lb black guy in the snow. But then again they couldn't find a 7 foot tall Arab guy riding a donkey through tora bora either.

Because he's not in the snow. You expected him to set fire to his truck, draw attention to it, and go hiking in to the snow? Crazy

Yeah, apparently far sooner than the LAPD/LASD/SBSD/CDCR cause they are still making cocoa and roasting marshmallows hoping he jumps out of the snow and gives up.

On Friday, Kathy Merkosky, 53, was outside her stucco home pointing out the six bullet holes that pierced the bumper and grille of her silver Acura MDX.

Her Ford Focus had two bullet holes as well -- one bullet shattered the windshield and another penetrated her front left tire. Police officers told her husband to file a claim with the department, she said.

After the incident, police ordered residents to stay indoors, but from his window Goo could see dozens of yellow markers on the ground used to mark the stray bullets. While out surveying the damage, he counted five bullets in his entryway, a bullet hole in his garage door, two bullets hits his silver Lexus and another bullet grazed the hood of his Oldsmobile.

"That's why we live here because it is safe," said the cardiologist technician. "It's ironic that the only violence we experienced here is from LAPD."

How do you mistake two elderly Asian women for a 250-pound black guy? Look at this truck. wtf.

They are hispanic not asian. when was the last time you saw an asian women delivering newspapers in LA?

I approve the shooting of vehicles with overly smoked taillights. Vehicles with aftermarket HIDs need the attention of the SWAT teams.
HId lights, lifted trucks whos lights hit your eyes and fixed up cars with bright as bulbs in your eyes deserve this type of treatment. Smoked out taillights deserve a bus rear ending them or maybe that lifted truck who couldn't see the smoked out lights. HATE those.

BTW illegal to mod taillights.

What snow? It doesn't snow in LA.
His truck was found in the san bernardino mountains burned out but I think the stole another car and ran back to la. Been snowboarding in those mountains for years and spotting a black guy in big bear, arrowhead is like trying to spot the lochness monster. Almost impossible to do and when you do see one, everyone stares for a while. Never had snow in LA but so cali gets snow in the mountains.

Private citizens should not act stupidly. Police officers are highly trained and much better marksman with their weapons.

Senator Feinstein is quite correct when she says that putting guns in the hands of civilians creates incidents where elderly Asian women and innocent people might get shot or at the least, shot at by crazy, right-wing, Romney voting NRA members.

The police are here to protect and serve. When seconds count, they are just minutes away

My name is BarHawk Obama, and I approve this message.
